Today we took the wraps off CaptivateIQ inaugural State of Incentive Compensation Management Report ✨ ! Over the past few months, we surveyed 200 incentive compensation leaders across RevOps, Finance, Accounting and HR to understand the challenges and opportunities they’re seeing. Incentive compensation is meant to…incentivize. And in most cases it does (over half of payees agree) but our report unearths opportunities for comp teams to better align incentive compensation to business goals. 🤖 Only 43% of comp teams have automated the commissions process, leaving them mired in admin work rather than optimizing for outcomes 🔭 Both comp leaders and payees agree transparency is important, but there’s a disconnect; 61% of comp leaders believe they provide adequate transparency, but <50% of payees have confidence in payouts 🏔 The mountain of commissions data is largely untapped with less than 40% of incentive comp leaders actively reporting on incentive performance and less than 50% optimizing their program based on insights Dig into the data and tactical recommendations (& appreciate the genius of Heather Lohmann and Jarrod Ryhal) here 👇
