I was requested to submit a marketing assignment to a company, but unfortunately, I wasn't selected for the position. However, I did receive positive feedback and appreciation for the ideas I presented. Do you guys agree with such hiring process? I am sharing the type of assignments that i had submitted during such hiring processes. Different approaches to acquire early users for our social networking app. For business owners- • Constructive feedback through honest reviews is invaluable for a company's growth, and maintaining a balance of both positive and negative reviews on the website demonstrates transparency rather than hypocrisy. • Getting in touch with retail stores like Vijay Sales and Croma to have the *urd app's QR code printed on the product. After scanning these QR codes, customers will be directed straight to our app, where they will read honest reviews of the service and the business, which will help market both our app and the business of our clients. • Sponsoring events which will create a huge impact on our company’s growth. Such events will do huge marketing and reach out to the people and the business owners as well. • Taking part in exhibitions with the highest footfall will provide substantial exposure to this company. #marketing #hr #career #assignment #hiringprocess

Hi Network! I made the difficult decision to resign from my role. I am excited about what the future holds and just as energized and ready to learn as day 1, but this time with 14+ years experience (in #retail, #apparel, #merchandising, #buying, and #ecommerce) and ready to find my next role that allows me to #mentor the next wave of retail! I love using #data to build compelling and engaging stories to build #trust and gain buy-in with both internal and external partners and stakeholders. I enjoy taking the customer on a journey of #discovery, giving her what she wants, when she wants it, and more importantly what she didn't even know she wanted. Creating an #assortment that the customer will look at and say, "Wow, I have to have this!" is my #passion. #Strategizing and putting the big picture together is my jam, but the thrill of finding a little nugget of information to exploit and build off of is just as intoxicating. It's important for me to #lead, not manage. I want my team to be able to run when I'm not there. I don't see this as being replaceable, I see this as me doing a damn good job utilizing strengths, putting processes in place for efficiency, and creating a space of psychological safety for the team to think strategically and take initiative. I love apparel, but am also interested in expanding my knowledge outside of this category, whether in #sports, #home, #toys or #cpg. When I joined Brandwatch almost 3 years ago, I didn't have a background in MarTech or selling data. And I was nervous about trying something new that wasn't in the technical wheelhouse I had already honed. I found the role unexpectedly through my network. I founded a Women in Revenue employee resource group at my previous company because I saw a lack of female leadership, particularly on the revenue team. I found a female VP of Sales and was excited to bring her in to meet our group. We ended up hitting it off and starting an informal interview process. I interviewed with my now-manager, who was in the process of moving from Account Executive to Sales Manager. We hit it off instantly. She is the most genuine and supportive person I have ever had the pleasure of working with and I feel so fortunate to be on her team. Through ups and downs, her leadership keeps me at Brandwatch. Since Brandwatch has joined forces with several top MarTech companies, like Falcon and Paladin, to create one monster suite, the team has grown as well. Brandwatch’s sales team is filled with some of the hardest working, humble, and kind folks I have worked with. There is a culture of healthy competition and genuine celebration for each other’s wins - this culture directly stems from Manager and Director leadership.
