Although few of us say it in our out loud voices, many of us think, social media is kids playing on their phones. I’m here to tell you, it’s so much more than that.
When I decided to open Sann Nord Studios, I knew I was going to have to figure out how to get my art onto social media.
I started with a Facebook page and then added Instagram.
My website is under construction and I’m learning how to create content.
Let me tell you what, creating content is no walk in the park.
It’s not only about naming your pieces appropriately, you have to get quality photos, you have to pair them with the right music AND you have to edit it all together so it looks good.
OR you can pay someone to do it for you.
There is a reason why the phrase starving artist comes to mind.
Painting, spending time in my studio is how I decompress from the stress of life.
I never thought about selling my work until what seemed like the 100th person asked me if I did in front of my dad.
Dad being dad said, you know you should, right?
I should do what?
Sell your artwork.
So here I am putting it out there, putting me out there.
Eye Into The Void is my latest piece.
I’m still deciding if I like it displayed horizontally or vertically. I do believe the theme to Star Trek is the best choice for the music to go with it.
Regardless, I hope you enjoy it and more importantly it inspires you to get your creative on.
