Reflecting on a year of Growth. "In life's pursuit, we often face moments where tough decisions lead us down new paths. Leaving behind a fulfilling career at Microsoft with all its promising prospects and the lasting bonds I built with the teams that I nurtured was one of those moments. But as a staunch believer of the fact that true fulfilment transcends individual aspirations, I see this journey as yet another fulfilling one to give back to someone back at home who supported me throughout my 23 years of career journey and to set the firm Studio Infinite and its team towards success path. And then the entrepreneurial journey was a wild ride.  From scouting an office space to own for our burgeoning office expansion, to navigating the legal intricacies, from streamlining systems and automating processes, setting up frameworks and policies to fostering a culture of talent development, getting the office ready to move in, every challenge was worth a learning experience. Balancing professional pursuits with personal growth, managed to carve out time for executive programs at Indian School of Business and University of Cambridge. And amidst the hustle, I've spent a whopping 3 months of time to transform a neglected dwelling that was left unattended since years into a place of solace and warmth. Amidst it all, a surprise responsibility came knocking – a chance to give back to students and colleges by joining the governing council of VTHT Engineering College (Non profit sorts:) It's an added responsibility I'm eager to dive into, hoping to bring a fresh perspective to the table. As I gear up to bid adieu to my current chapter, I'm filled with a mix of nostalgia and excitement. Every sacrifice of personal aspirations has been worth it, every challenge a lesson learned. Here's to new beginnings and the adventures that lie ahead." Just 2 months more to bid adieu to the current role and be ready to look for a challenging role to get back to where I feel I belong more. Hoping to get a pleasing nod from CEO to say goodbye 😊.

The banner is gone. 🥳 On Monday I'll be joining Cambridge Enterprise (part of Cambridge Uni) as People and Culture Lead. It's a bit of a development from my recent pure recruiting roles and will involve not just hiring some very smart people (hello imposter syndrome!), but also helping revamp onboarding and candidate experience, plus developing wider People and HR projects. Who are Cambridge Enterprise? Well, the world-changing ideas and technologies from the students and academics at Cambridge University won't get to change the world without the funding, market research and companies that can bring them to market. Cambridge Enterprise connects these two worlds and in the last 15 years has: •  Helped to create over 100 new companies • Assisted them to raise over £1.7 billion in investment • Cambridge Enterprise portfolio companies have also created over 2,000 jobs in Cambridge and around the world And I'm going to be a small part of that! That's my immediate future, but thinking back over the last 4 months it's been a tough old job search. But support from colleagues, friends, family and my wider LinkedIn network has really helped keep me on track. When the search has got me down, they've brought me back up, when leads were scarce, they opened doors. 🌟 From Doubt to Action: My Stanford University Journey 🌟 🕰️ 11 years ago, the idea of graduating from Stanford seemed like a distant fantasy. In 2013, fresh out of engineering school in Venezuela, I took an unexpected turn by moving to Chile. Some years after while exploring career opportunities, I stumbled upon a program at Stanford University. The notion of being selected for one of the world's top universities felt almost delusional. Doubt crept in—I questioned my abilities, feeling not "good" or "smart" enough, compounded by the challenge of adapting to a new country in South America without connections and limited resources $$. Yet, in the face of uncertainty, I allowed myself to dream and seized the chance. After all, what was the worst that could happen? 🚀 In 2014, I took the leap and applied. The outcome? A setback 😥 —I didn't get selected. Disheartened, I almost skipped the 2015 application cycle. However, I chose not to self-reject and, instead, trusted in my experiences and skills. This time, the news was different—I had been chosen! ✨ 2015 marked my graduation from Stanford University Graduate School of Business!! —a feat I once deemed impossible and unreal for me. This is your SIGN to pursue that course, degree, job, or opportunity without self-rejection. Allow yourself to DREAM, regardless of how distant or unconventional it may seem today. Trust yourself, the value you bring, your experiences, and your skills. Change the question from "What is the worst that can happen?" to "What is the best that can happen?"
