The Multiverse AI has been one of my hardest projects. I haven't learnt more in any other four-month period in my adult life. To remain at the cutting edge of Generative AI, and to widen our reach at the same time, is one continuous sprint. When I look at code I've written at the start of the project I gasp with horror 😱, which tells me how far I've come. I see now that contact with the customer is 80% of product development. I still personally reply to each email and actively engage in conversations with customers. Our popular high-resolution upgrade comes directly from a customer suggestion. I'm improving my relationship with social media. I see the value in sharing and learning in public, and I've received only positivity and valuable feedback. I still need to push myself to actively post on forums like Twitter, but I see the value of the #buildinpublic trend. Without any outside investment, TheMultiverseAI is now comfortably profitable and we're aiming to start paying ourselves a token amount. Next steps - 1. Master SEO and paid media, and 2. Release another large update to our AI model, for even more impressive outcomes and to widen the gap between us and our nearest competitors. 📰 Artifact's Surprise Return: What's Next? ⏭ Big ne­ws for fans of Artifact, the AI-powered ne­ws app created by Instagram's co-founders Ke­vin Systrom and Mike Krieger! 🚀 Re­member when we­ heard Artifact was shutting down? It turns out, the app might be sticking around afte­r all. Systrom himself shared that kee­ping Artifact operational is easier and le­ss costly than they initially thought. Right now, it's just him and Krieger maintaining the­ app. I am not a big fan. But some of my friends who avidly use it, say that Artifact is not just another news app. It uses AI (still not sure how that's even a differentiator) to bring us relevant news without the­ clutter. It even has a cool fe­ature that transforms clickbait headline­s into something genuinely worth re­ading. With all the recent talk about using AI in ne­ws, it's clear Artifact was ahead of the curve­. Even as big tech companies jump into AI-powe­red news, Artifact's unique approach still stands out. It's more­ than just an app - it's about ensuring we get ne­ws that are truly valuable to us. Now, the future of Artifact is still uncertain. However, there is some hope that it might find a new path forward, whether through a sale or another surprise. Eager to see what happens. For now, Artifact continues to operate without social features, but it's still making it easier to access and understand the news. I consider that a positive outcome. The current trend is to implement AI. 🤖 But implementing AI is the first step, the second and not insignificant step is to understand who is using it in reality and why. Getting feedback and analytics is very important. Having asked these questions, I found a platform that was launched only in May this year, but at the end of August the guys from the UK managed to attract the first round of investment of 3.5 million dollars. So - Context is an analytics platform that helps you understand how effectively users interact with your conversational AI product, such as a tech support chatbot. To connect your chatbot to the Context platform, you need to insert SDK or API calls that pass conversation texts to the platform so it can analyse them. In this way they found a very cool way to capitalise their startup on the suddenly hot topic of chatbots. Not to develop another platform for creating chatbots - but to offer a tool for monitoring the effectiveness of chatbots created on other people's platforms. ☄️ Whoever tries it, share your results! So many people in my DMs are offering to help me here on LinkedIn. Very nice of them. Except they clearly don't know me because they keep offering me nonsense like, "Do you need help hiring the right people? Umm, no, I have AI." or "Do you need help developing your app? Umm, no, I have AI." or "Do you need help attracting more clients? Umm, no, everyone wants AI." If they knew me, they'd say, "Do you need help figuring out why Chroma doesn't like custom embedding functions, and if you use them, you'll break your RAG stack? Then bang your head against the wall for days, figuring out why it should work fine, but it isn't?" Well, yes, thank you. Or, on second thought...Umm, no, I have AI.

GEO - generative engine optimisation 🤔 I first heard this term over the weekend on instagram. I just wanted to say that we made this post entirely with AI. The strategy, hashtags, caption & choice of image are all AI. This is what we set out to build from day 1 with BIGR Social and as we're getting closer to launch I'm getting more excited for what we can do! My main problem with my agency was that everyone always wanted access to me. It's great when clients think you're cool and want to chat, but it doesn't work when you're trying to service a dozen clients and you've already hired fantastic staff to look after them. That's the scalability issue that all my friends who run agencies always tell me about. So, we figured out a way to automate a lot of what we did, making our service a lot cheaper and scalable to 10's of thousands rather than dozens.
