Yesterday, future leaders, my leadership team and I wrapped up our second monthly session with Chalmers Brothers as we are in month 2 of his six-session SOAR Leadership and Personal Development Program. I am thrilled to share that my experience has been profoundly transformative. We have learned invaluable lessons in self-awareness, self-responsibility, and the art of effective communication, which are crucial for leadership effectiveness. The benefits to our organization are already becoming evident, with improved accountability, enhanced listening skills, and a deeper understanding of the unique perspectives each team member brings to the table. The relationship between execution and culture has never been clearer, and we are now more adept at addressing “missing conversations” that can hinder progress. The program’s practical tools our empowering my team to create and generate outcomes, rather than merely describing tasks. This shift in approach is resonating with us all, fostering a culture where language is a tool for creation and innovation. Special thanks to Vistage Worldwide, Inc. for connecting me with Chalmers! His nationwide speaking engagements through the Vistage network, and our group chairman Bill Morgenstern for inviting him to our group, have been instrumental in this journey.
