I haven't been able to find the right words to summarize my thoughts and emotions from the past week but I'm just glad that the worst is behind us. Our clients' funds are safe and so are our jobs, at least for now. Instead of dwelling on the things I can't control, I'm excited to move forward and do anything I can to help SVB regain trust and confidence from our clients and partners. I know my fellow SVBers feel the same. All of us joined SVB not only because of its culture but also because of the types of clients we're able to serve - clients that drive innovation, create new jobs and grow the global economy. It’s easy to criticize the industry right now but, looking back at the past 40 years of growth, it’s just as easy to see the positive impact that tech has had on us individually and as a whole. It's surely going to be an uphill battle for SVBers going forward but I’m optimistic that we’ll persevere and come out stronger. Now, let’s get back to work. Onward and upward!

Jigar! I remember when I graduated from CBS and you were always so supportive of the startups I was with, and to me personally. You built such an amazing community and ecosystem, and many of us wouldn't be where we are today without you and SVB.

1yI think shock is an understatement of what you all must be feeling at SVB. As you shared Jigar, SVB is a community that rooted for the underdog that others didn’t believe in or turned away. It’s not until the last decade that the industry had a lot of bandwagoners that wanted a piece and are so quick to scatter away in the darkest days. 40yrs of passion and tenaciousness amongst its culture by all of you that make it so special. 🤗 🙏
