The leap year might come every four years but don’t make your delegates wait that long between events! Here are five tips to ensure you maximise engagement: 1. Communicate with your audience well in advance of the event – create the community! 2. Showcase the event venue and destination on your event website – as a minimum: getting there, what hotels are available and what things are there to do? 3. Research the engagement technology that’s now available for the event itself. 4. Ask for feedback after the live event. 5. As we start event season in edtech, Mary's latest adventure cuts deep. In B2B marketing, how often do we find ourselves doing things because either: 1) We've always done it 2) Our competitors do it Get out of your comfort zone. 2024 is going to arguably be the toughest year to meaningfully connect with the market. A tradeshow might be the best place to do it. But it might not. If you're looking to launch a new product, or raise your general awareness at the whole-market level, then go for it!
