Partner, Co-Chair of National Practice Development Division & Lawyer at Rifkin Weiner Livingston, LLC
For over 30 years Rifkin Weiner Livingston LLC has been at the crossroads of law, business and government. Over that time, RWL has been fortunate to represent many Fortune 500 companies and other companies with a national footprint. We’ve seen our practice grow substantially as the firm has addressed a varied array of national matters – from complex multi-state litigation to national false claims actions to matters of corporate governance and, of course federal, state and local government and administrative actions. With the establishment of the National Practice Development Group, RWL is focusing those efforts to provide our clients with a national platform to compliment our state practice areas. #law #lawfirm #policy #procurement #litigation #civillitigation #transactions #governmentrelations #governmentcontracting #governmentaffairs #lobbying #federalgovernment Camille F. A few more reasons why I love our Summer Internship
4th Year Biochemistry Student at Cal State Fullerton | President's Scholar | Miss Yorba Linda | Medicinal Chemistry Research Lab Member | Medical Intelligence & Innovation Institution Intern
“Hospitals are full of people that are having the best day of their life, the worst day of their life, the first day of their life, or the last day of their life” This quote written on a provider room wall framed my perspective as I shadowed a hospitalist team during Week 6. The fascinating thing with this specialty is that you can meet two patients with similar symptoms but vastly different diagnoses and treatment plans because the root cause is not the same. Yet, that’s also the beauty of this specialty: helping people from all walks of life and conditions to make their best, worst, first, and last day of their life just a little bit better. Another exciting part of this week was Shark Tank! As a culmination of our weekly innovation challenges, we had one final opportunity to show what we’ve learned this summer. It was equally exciting and hectic to come up with a solution and captivating presentation within an hour to pitch to our “sharks.” Thank you to Dr. Sharief Taraman, MD, DABPN, DABPM, FAAP, Dr. Adam Z. Kalawi, MD, and Amber Osorno for being our amazing judges!

What if we lived life like we were all in a cross country meet? What if we watched other people and recognized that we're all just trying to get across the finish line? What if we understood that some people are running as hard as they can but battling illnesses, invisible injuries, and internal struggles? Every step is hard, but they're trying not to quit. What if we cheered for everyone even if they weren't on our team? What if we realized just finishing something, no matter how long it took us or how messy it seemed, was enough? In fact, it was a win. What if we used every race as an opportunity to learn more about ourselves and how we could use each other for support, inspiration, and help to reach our goals? What if we cheered loud for the winner, but even louder for the one who comes in after because they accomplished something great, too? In a world that tells us it's about me, me, me, what if we started living to support everyone brave enough to be in the race? What if we started treating our lives like we were all in the same cross country meet? What a beautiful world that would be. Credit: Whitney Fleming Writes
