I see too many posts using careless and thus improper lipid and lipoprotein lab metrics - THERE IS NO LAB TEST CALLED LDL. LDL refers to a lipoprotein with a density range between 1.019 to 1.063 g/mL- The most common test used to evaluate LDL is LDL-C, but below is a partial list of the many other assays used to inform clinicians about LDLs. QuikRead go HbA1c test fulfils the German quality requirements for laboratory measurements Aidian's QuikRead go® HbA1c is an in vitro diagnostic test for quantitative measurement of glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) from a finger prick capillary blood or anticoagulated (EDTA or heparin) venous whole blood samples. A study has been carried out in Germany to evaluate the precision of QuikRead go HbA1c assay in customer use. As a result, we can announce that QuikRead go HbA1c test fulfils the RiliBÄK quality requirements for precision in laboratory measurement. Thus, it is a suitable test to be used as an aid in diagnosis of diabetes and in the successful management of diabetic patients also in the future.
