When setting measurables for yourself, your team or your organisation, it is more beneficial to measure what is most important, rather than what is easiest to measure. Avoid falling into the trap of measuring what is not useful, simply for the sake of collating numbers. For leaders / managers, this can lead onto micromanagement, which itself may cause high levels of resistance, disengagement, wasted time, and under-performance (the opposite purpose of setting measurables).
