In a world where the pursuit of happiness often takes center stage, the interplay between art, environment, and well-being is a topic of captivating interest. The artwork by Elisa Lejuez, an acclaimed artist from Aruba, serves as a fascinating focal point for this discussion. This article will explore how Lejuez's vibrant creation not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of a living space but also acts as a catalyst for joy within a domestic setting. The piece in question—resplendent with warm tones and mesmerizing patterns—encapsulates the artist's signature style, which marries Caribbean vibrancy with abstract expression. As we delve into the specifics of the artwork and its effect on the happiness of those who encounter it, we'll uncover why this conversation is more than just about art—it's about the shared human experience of finding joy in our surroundings. By examining the personal account of how Lejuez's art has brought happiness to one family, we invite readers to consider the broader implications of how art influences emotion and well-being. This introduction sets the stage for a compelling narrative that interweaves visual splendor with the universal quest for contentment, proving that the impact of art extends far beyond the canvas. https://lnkd.in/eTg3TvaQ

What is good (female) art, and why? Even though nobody really wants to discuss what is good art (perhaps because nobody really knows what good art is) then I will still pose the question: ‘What is good art, and why is good art good?’ One of the main (or the main) factors - according to me – is storytelling/the narrative. Many of the so called good male artists created a strong narrative – or had somebody to create this narrative for them. Thus, my question is – do have any female artist today who are creating this strong story/narrative about their art and who are they (on a global scale)? There is a very strong story/narrative behind this painting. Try to see if you can figure out what the (strong) story/narrative is here. #TheBigNarrative

There has always been a joy in artistry and creativity. Though the adjective “joy” is often used to describe the feeling of using colors on a canvas, “contentment” is not so much. This special feeling of peace is often the result of self-growth. 🎨Manifesting the best artistic outcomes ☝🏻 The core message of her new collection “Retrospectives”, is that believe in hope and peace - are still present in this unsettling yet progressing world. The characters combine adult mind and child figure, Asian body features and Western personalities, symbolizing any person among us. Complex emotions and sentiments such as anxiety, sarcasm, indifference and absurdity co-exist, while harmonized in peaceful scene and joyful colors. “Retrospectives” are created with acrylic paint in semi-realistic genre. https://lnkd.in/evFhRJmy

Title: Art Therapy for Parental Alienation Awareness Day, NYC 2023 What does this art represent to me (anonymous) on my journey fighting parental alienation, estrangement & erasure? Painting is a way to focus my brain and elevate my happiness, usually inspired by pain, ironically. When I paint, I feel good. When I paint, I forget my troubles. The final product makes me smile! Bringing awareness to PA- A with my art makes me feel like I have a greater purpose. Step into a world where emotions are painted in shades of light and shadow. Using White Charcoal pastel and White gel pen on Black paper, my portraits dive into human emotions. Each stroke doesn't just show a face but also shares what's inside. The contrast between White and Black invite you to explore how emotions are expressed. With my art, I aim to capture the beauty in even the smallest expressions. It's not just about making pictures; it's about sharing stories. Join me in exploring the human mind, where every stroke tells a tale, and every portrait reveals a piece of the heart.

Pet portraits and caricatures are among the few genres in the vast world of art that so profoundly capture the essence of love, companionship, and pure artistic expression. These artistic depictions act as windows into the distinct personalities and treasured relationships that humans share with their furry friends. These artistic expressions have withstood the test of time, capturing in alluring ways the essence of our feathery, scaly, or furry friends, whether in the fine detail of a portrait or the playful exaggeration of a caricature. https://lnkd.in/dnANSSt9
