Watch this video starting at 30:58. You can hear firsthand what Matthew Brunty (Owner of RED) thinks of Roopairs Technologies, Inc. Matt is our fastest-growing customer. His average technician employee age is under 30! What other service companies in the Foodservice industry have those types of younger generation numbers?! If you are a technician looking for a service company that puts techs and families first, join his team! He cares about his techs, empathizes with his employees' families, and provides unparalleled training to take your career to the next level. I can't say enough great things about Matt as a leader and as a human being who puts his technicians and families first above all else. His formula for success has revolved around his techs, families, and customers. The Middleby Corporation: You need to get Matt as an ASA ASAP! What are you waiting for? You're missing out on giving premier service to your end users. Matt, thank you for pushing this industry forward. If you care for your techs and customers, you will always win! Matt is a perfect example of what company culture looks like for younger techs. RED is becoming a force to be reckon with, his growth is just getting started 🚀 Special S/O to Rich Ortega and Patrick Finley for asking the right questions and pushing this industry forward by displaying the best of the best on your show. For those of you who have talked to me at all in the last ~7ish years; you know one of my passion areas is chatting about career progression / planning. What are you doing now, what do you want to do more / less of, what type of environment do you want to work in, etc? Michael Burton's candid post below talks about some of the reasons why we may decide to STAY, which can be even braver than taking a new opportunity. Y'all have heard me say this before - but the best career moves are when you are running TOWARDS something, not running *away* from something. There are many levers you can pull to find that role that works best FOR YOU. Always happy to chat with any fellow #emailgeek that is looking for that thing they want to run towards. Fortunately, #Stitch checks most of my boxes - we're fast-paced, growing, evolving, and working with outstanding clients who hire us to really move their marketing tech and practices forward. We get to truly lean into being consultants ('Here's what I think you SHOULD be doing'). (PS - for those of you that are completely burned out, get the Sunday Scaries, etc. - it is completely ok to find your life raft. Sit in that rocking chair and refresh yourself, then put in the work to define what you really want and go after it relentlessly. You won't be in a position to truly define that ideal when you are in survival mode.)
Fall 2017. Bluewolf/IBM, a global giant, dangled shiny promises: a fresh start, "more impact," an escape from Lev's growing pains. As it turns out, leaving Lev would have been the most significant career mistake of my life, and that’s no knock on Bluewolf. Lev was messy, sure. We stretched like taffy, budgets creaking, brains fried. But we were also growing, building momentum; leaving felt like trading a rollercoaster for a rocking chair. Comforting, maybe. But ultimately, not for me. I stayed. Dug in. Dealt with the (many) growing pains of a successful services business. And guess what? It was the hardest, most rewarding decision I ever made. CEO, acquisition, and then Stitch – it all stemmed from that choice to stay at Lev. So yeah, Bluewolf was tempting. But I chose the rollercoaster. And damn, the ride was amazing. The next time the "easy path" whispers, remember the epic view from the top. And choose the climb. Choose the hard work. #Braze #StitchAndBraze #AntiAgency

In the hustle of our careers, it's essential to pause and celebrate every victory, no matter how small. Whether it's conquering a challenging bug, rolling out a new software update, or exploring potential collaborations, each milestone deserves recognition. At Medref we understand the power of cherishing these moments. They fuel our passion, foster teamwork, and pave the way for even greater achievements. Taking a moment to celebrate isn't just about patting ourselves on the back—it's about cultivating a culture of appreciation and resilience. It's about acknowledging the hard work, dedication, and creativity that go into every project, big or small. So here's to the debugs, the updates, the collaborations, and everything in between. Let's celebrate each step forward, knowing that it's these small wins that ultimately lead to monumental success. #CelebrateSmallWins #TeamAppreciation #WorkCulture" Joshua Asiimwe Crystal Tusuubira

Just had an amazing two days at InsureTech Connect. If you’ve never been before, and curious what it’s like, here are the 4 things I learned: 1. It’s a place where people go to meet other people. Think of the first week at college. Kind of like that. 2. Using the app to book meetings with people you don’t know works decently well. Emails probably work better, so something I will try next time. 3. Wear flat shoes. This is Vegas. 4. Meeting people in real life makes a difference. There were lots of serendipitous connections I made.

My key takeaways and what you should expect more of in 2024 when it comes to video marketing:- 1. Creativity will Trump Volume - Everything will be about the quality of your creative and storytelling and how interesting your content is. Template structured videos won’t work like they used to due to over saturation in the market. 2. The brands that own their niche and take risks with their content will win. In a time when brands are scared to death to take a risk, playing it safe won’t work either. So you need to test what works organically and then make more of what resonates with your audience. 3. If your business is not already on TikTok you’re going miss on lots of opportunity. Tiktok is Gen Z’s number one search engine. TikTok also has YouTube in its sights as it pushes for higher quality, longer form content. #videomarketingtips #videomarketingforbusiness #videomarketingstrategy
Big thank-you to all our clients for being bold and wanting something a little different in 2023. Also to our hard working and talented crew and collaborators who help bring our scripts and concepts to life! 2024 is already looking set to be even more entertaining!

One of my favorite compliments I've received in my professional career was from a sync when Blake Lytle told me: "You don't just care about how well you're personally doing in your job, you CARE about your clients. Like really care about them." And I do. Team is everything to me, my core team at Supered and all the teams in my book of business. The #SuperedSquad matters to me. I am on their team, I am their hype girl, I celebrate their wins and mourn their losses with them. I take it personally if someone mentions they think they're falling behind in activation or not using the product to the best of their advantage and I give ALL credit to their hard work when they blow past milestones. I love my role here, and I love my book of partners. They are impossibly talented and doing amazing things with Supered⚡and I'm just happy to be a part of their successes. Team is everything in the end. PS: I really need someone to photoshop Lorenzo and CVP into this.
