Why are companies/HR looking for people without breaks in a resume, when they are laying off people frequently? Isn't it more strange to not have a break nowadays?

My last job ended at the end of a contract (that me and my team completed). Since the job ended seven weeks ago, I have applied for 55 jobs (52 of which I was very qualified for). Despite this activity (and I am doing training currently), I have yet to even get one interview. How can I get to the interview stage of job seeking?

As an over-55 applicant with 20 years of great experience - I took some time off to take care of my Dad and his Parkinson's disease. I'm back and keep being rejected in the first round without a conversation. What do I do differently to get noticed?

Hello, I would like to know - how to AVOID TOXIC workplaces. It is never about the workplaces but the PEOPLE that you have to deal with. When managers push it under the rug or pretend that is not there at all. Thank you.

Hi! What is your best recommendation to get through the ATS with a career break of over a year?

When in transition I advise clients to think beyond the traditional #resumedesign and #coverletter and work on a package of career branding materials that communicate who you are from a 360 view. A great tactic is the creation of a visual bio to highlight your vision, values, and experience to leverage as an informal networking tactic or background to the interview conversation.
