Which would you prefer? A recruiter trying to fill open jobs? Or a recruiter with a heart for the people they serve? Who strives to get to know YOU so that when the right fit comes along, you're the first person who comes to mind.

Should candidates who don’t have comparable enough experience to others still be given an interview based on other criteria they might meet? 🤔 I’ve had several post-interview rejections recently which all ultimately said I lacked experience they were specifically seeking (some was more defined in the JDs, others not at all). 😥 My first gut feeling is then, “why did you bother interviewing me if you knew that from my CV”? 😏 While it’s nice to see some say that people are welcome to apply even if they don’t tick all the boxes, it does still make me a little sceptical… How many are more likely to hire someone “with potential” than with all or most of the required and desired skills and experience? 🤨 P.S. Yes I’m still open to work, preferring roles in ED&I but would love an employer who wants to give someone with minimal experience in this field experience they need. Please me know if you’re that kind of employer or know any jobs like this! ☺️

Hello, fellow job seekers and/or recent successful new jobbers! Is there a certain method you have or know of where you've gotten in to newly advertised positions in the first few minutes/hours? I have a regular email from LinkedIn that tells me about open positions, however, I've found that even positions open less than 3 to 4 hours already have more than 100 applicants! Have you just passed those by thinking 'what's the point, assuming hiring managers will more than likely find someone in the first 10-20 applications?' Taking any and all suggestions, but especially job offers!😁

QUESTION:::::: Hiring managers, Human Resources, Internal Recruiters..... When a new agency recruiter is calling/emailing in an attempt to partner with you to find talent, how do you prefer they approach you? I'd love to hear your thoughts!!! - Calling or emailing you offering assistance to your open, challenging roles or - Calling or emailing you saying they have a candidate with X,Y,Z background from X,Y,Z company that can fill a SPECIFIC opening you have open It's always been a toss up for me, as I don't want to assume I have your perfect candidate, without talking to you about what you are really looking for. So much more to filling a role than just matching what you see on a job post. I'd welcome any opinions!

Dear Recruiters & Staffing Agencies, I HAVE A JOB! I'm not certain if there has been a shift in your recruiting/hiring strategies, but I have recently had a half-dozen agencies reach out for open opportunities due to my "skills/experience being impressive," while I appreciate the inquiry and thank you for the recognition, but I can't help to ponder if you are putting as much energy/attention in those that have an "Open to Work" banner and pleading daily for an opportunity to get back in the workforce because simply put, they can't survive without work (money) even with the unemployment benefits they may be receiving... While I don't envy your roles because I, too, am responsible for recruiting, and understand you have a job to do.... yet, I can't help but ask, what are you doing for those who are desperately seeking work due to layoffs, poor management, job performance, or whatever the circumstances rather than reaching out to those employed?

A coaching culture is paramount to the success of any organization. and yet we keep going back to age old frameworks that look to upskill only the top tier of an organization and that only focus on the strengths and tendencies of that top tier. all these methods, many have been around for decades, and yet we are still talking about the lack of Coaching and poor culture in corporate. OwlHub, Inc #RESPECTCoachingStyles is new and different than all the others. It focuses on the needs of the #Coachee and gives everyone one in any organization the tools they need to ensure that every single person is coached in the exact way they need to be. The new AI Based Coaching CoPilot #Ollie makes it even simpler to roll out to a whole team. So many organizations are having incredible results. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting change. Walk away from the forgettable frameworks developed decades ago and move to a new modern science backed method that works.
I'm currently hiring and reading through resumes. The one thing I wish I could tell so many of the applicants is that even though their experience doesn't align with what I need, it's awesome, they're so cool, I'm so impressed with what they've done. I hope that if you're looking for work right now, you keep that in mind. Just because you aren't the right fit doesn't mean you aren't great. Hang in there.

If someone puts in the time and effort to interview for a job (after all of the other tests, one-way video interviews, etc.) can companies at minimum send a canned rejection? It has been months since some of my interviews and I haven't heard back a thing. It's fine I didn't get the job, just be polite and let me know. I have over 120 open applications, are you not hiring? Did you fill the position internally? Indeed allows you to send an automatic rejection, just use it. It has been frustrating not to hear anything from so many of these companies. I think the days where I don't get anything back at all are worse than the ones where I receive rejections. I've had this happen before when applying to jobs, but never to this capacity. Anyway, I am still looking for preferably full-time digital marketing/social media management positions if you know of anyone hiring!

Logistics Manager| Supply Chain Coordinator| Shipping Controller| Inventory Manager| Operations | Relocations
Good day everyone😄, I hope this finds you all in good spirit. Many of you have been forwarding me their CV's and requesting for jobs. I would like to reiterate that I am not hiring. I appreciate the positive impact and influence my posts (by sharing available job positions) have had on most of you, however, I only repost or share posts from recruiters or searching companies. I have a great passion for assisting job hunters, as I have experienced how draining it can be myself😞. As much as I would love to assist you further and go an extra mile, as far as profiling and forwarding your CV's to the relevant respectful fields, I cannot. I try to connect with as much HR personnel's as I can to better the chances and advantages of my connections getting employment. That is unfortunately as far as I can get. I am also a searching candidate-like you, in the Supply Chain/Logistics industry; so I understand and appreciate your perspective. I continue helping as far as I possibly can by sharing posts, if I can do more I definitely will. Happy hunting🎉 #jobhunt #supplychain #logistics #hrgeneralist
