Teaching women how to build a successful and lucrative interior design business so they can leave their unfulfilling job and create the life of their dreams | Podcast Host | Author | Founder
✈️ Last year, my “work” took me to Costa Rica, Portugal, Spain, and a few other beautiful locations... The reason for my travel was to film a (still to be released) self-guided version of my 6-day design school, Psychologie of Home Design School. I recorded the session, did yoga, swam in the tide pools, took beach walks, wined and dined, and all the other vacation-y things. When you have your own design business, you have the freedom and flexibility to travel, AND you can afford it. Hell, you can work from any remote location if you want. In fact, most of my vacations are working vacations. 🏖️ I can do floor plans, source furnishings, create design concepts, and do zoom calls with clients all from the veranda of my vacation rental or hotel room. How cool is that? Plus, travelling offers new perspectives and refines your sense of appreciation – all great things to bring to the table as an interior designer. So, you can vacation, be inspired, and earn a living all in one. 😎 Seriously, being an interior designer is the best job ever! What are some of your favorite travel destinations that made you feel inspired? #vacation #remotework #entrepreneur #business #inspiration

LABYRINTH LINGO It is the language of the maze, as its name implies. Yes, this home was specially constructed for a world traveler and polymath named Joshua, a hypothetical client. The residency explores the curation and selection of interior spaces, showcasing the heritage of a diverse range of cities and countries. As a result, there are plentiful activities going on inside, which keeps the eyes engaged. Joshua intended for it to be this way because he wants to share a tale with you. Please listen to his tale below and let me know whether you think the heavily maximalist design I went with is the best option. Both design and art are subjective. #interiordesign #sensoryexperience #therapy #cultureandheritage #labyrinth #architecture #sketchup #sensorydesign #enscape #autocad #lingo #3dvisualization #residentialdesign #civilinfrastructure #interiorspaces #spatialdesign #behance #portfolio #calmness #mindfulness #experiencedesign #artdesign #maximalism #spatialdesign #portfolio #bali #antarctica #tuscany #greek #india #thailand #spain #maldives #languageofthespaces

To consider a building design an archetype is to recognize that it represents a fundamental and universally understandable model of what we perceive as a particular house or building. Archetypes are motifs, ideas, or symbols that are deeply rooted in humanity's collective unconscious, and they transcend cultural and linguistic boundaries. Here's how a building design can be seen as an archetype: The hotel we have designed is inspired by Asian primordialism while retaining a contemporary expression. The integration with nature with its long horizontal volumes, the expression of materials, and their use The use of the natural environment as it was in the past, roof overhangs, etc.

Innovation marketing for high-end market, with the mission of transforming the marketing and communications of heritage and modern brands into assets that generate growth | Supporter of the culture of modern business
Body-mind-soul harmony. This type of design exercises, in my opinion, is always valuable, interesting, and potentially rewarding. Presenting a project or a new concept that encapsulates all the ideas and visions of your expertise, perhaps without creative limits imposed by any brief, allows teams to showcase their abilities to the fullest. At b-f-t-m, we also occasionally invest in this type of exercise. It's always fascinating both before and during, but also after such a project. In this instance, DNA Barcelona Architects introduces a new concept for a holistic boutique hotel, TOH, seamlessly integrated with nature, focused on body-mind-soul harmony, seeking a balance between architecture and the surrounding environment, offering unparalleled panoramic views of the lagoon and an unprecedented central distribution. A wavy roof inspired by bird flight provides a visual spectacle of the Toh's colors and enhances movement with reflections in the water. This magnificent arrangement of distinctive volumes not only ensures privacy but also offers breathtaking views from any point in the resort. 🙌 What’s your take? # 256 ARCHITECTURE, Mexico 👉 More contents on our website, the link to the featured news is in the first comment below. 🎯 If you want to learn more about our transformative approach to generating growth (yes, what we call innovation marketing!), feel free to write me privately.
