Greetings for all!! As a second language teacher I always remember myself about this sentence. " I am not just a teacher, but I also inspire" Being a teacher who inspires is about more than just conveying information; it's about igniting curiosity, fostering creativity, and instilling a love for learning. As an English teacher, I always make sure to show my passion for the subject I teach! " Show my genuine enthusiasm for the subject matter. When I am passionate about what I teach, it's contagious and inspires students to engage with the material on a deeper level" I also, make sure to have a good connection with my Students. I Take the time to understand thier interests , backgrounds, and learning styles. Building personal connections creates a supportive environment where students feel valued and motivated to excel. As well as, I always encourage Creativity inside my classroom which can provide opportunities for my students to explore new ideas, ask questions, and express their own unique perspectives. finally I make sure to set High expectations. I Believe in my students' potential and set high expectations for their academic and personal growth. I always Challenge them to push beyond their comfort zones and strive for excellence. By embodying these principles, I can truly become a teacher who not only imparts knowledge but also inspires and empowers students to reach their fullest potential.

Last week I presented on Language in the Classroom during our teacher orientation program at Istanbul International School. Effective classroom language makes teaching and learning easier by enhancing communication 🗣️ Here is a summary of my 10 tips: 1. Simple, clear and concise language. 2. Mutual respect and mindful of cultural differences. 3. Encouraging participation. 4. Varying language and learning styles - visual and kinesthetic as well as linguistic. 5. Positive reinforcement. 6. Accommodating different abilities or challenges. 7. Teaching appropriate and contextual language to students. 8. Encouraging fluency with age-suitable discussion and allowing hesitation. 9. Reinforcing familiar classroom phrases. 10. Using language to structure time during the lesson. How else can classroom language be used to effectively enhance communication? 📚🗣️

Allhumdulillah!! excited to share a milestone achievement: i completed my course of language friendly teacher. A language-friendly teacher is someone who understands the importance of communication and its role in fostering a conducive learning environment. They prioritize creating an inclusive atmosphere where students feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and ideas. In this course, I learned several valuable lessons that have shaped my approach to teaching. Firstly, I realized the significance of being patient and empathetic towards students with different language abilities. Secondly, I gained insights into various teaching strategies and techniques to help students improve their language skills effectively. Lastly, I understood the importance of continuously adapting and refining my teaching methods to cater to the diverse needs of my students. Overall, this course has been an enriching experience that has broadened my perspective on the role of language in education.

No Matter How far We Come, Our Parents are Always in Us ~ Brad Meltzer ㅤㅤㅤIn general, my primary desire for teaching was fueled by my upbringing in an educational family. My parents' dedication to the field has sealed the deal for me, long before my teenagehood. After getting my Baccalaureate, I enrolled at university, where my focus began shifting towards English in specific. I got my BA in English Literature, and embarked on my English teaching journey. ㅤㅤㅤLanguage is a powerful tool, as it bridged various cultures together since the dawn of time. This effect is further propagated in today's globalized world, where effective English communication became crucial for both personal growth and professional success. As an ESL teacher, I strive to provide guidance for non-native English speakers, who seek to learn and master the language. ㅤㅤㅤMoreover, I feel a responsibility to share my accumulated knowledge with my students, with the goal of helping them express themselves and connect with the world, previously confined within the restraints of language. Not to mention the diversity present in each student's background, rich in different habits, perspectives and experiences. ㅤㅤㅤFinally, I strongly believe in the nobility of my profession, as teachers are considered second parents to students. And what kind of parent would not feel joy when their children successfully integrate in their communities, especially when they helped prepare for said integration?
