So many things on your plate! Reality check: Your lack of a solid strategy is making things harder. But there is a way to stop this. ⬇ These 13 easy steps will improve your content strategy straight away.  1. Create a content calendar on Google.  2. Tell good stories: Use storytelling to make your work more engaging and memorable.  3. Teach what you know.  4. Don't worry about perfection, just post.  5. Use social media platform strategically.     (Choose one or two platforms that you enjoy).  6. Show what your business offers.  7. Share your values.  8. Share the process.  9. Be open to feedback from your followers. 10. Engage with other people 15 minutes a day (reply ALL comments). 11. Use hashtags to find ideas related to your field. 12. Check your analytics once a week/month. 13. Repurpose your best content. Your post today isn't going to be great. And your first video? Not winning any awards. All that's okay. How do you all cope? 😫 As a social media manager, I find it easy to create content for the brands I work with, but I struggle to do the same for myself. It’s ironic, isn’t it? Managing social media for others comes naturally, yet when it comes to my own presence, I hit a creative block and often don’t have the time. Maybe it's the perfectionist in me or the challenge of switching from a professional to a personal voice. I've decided to try treating my personal brand like a client. Planning content, scheduling posts, and setting clear goals could be the key to balancing both sides—something I’m still trying out. To my fellow social media managers and content creators, do you face the same struggle? How do you balance creating for yourself and your clients?

A client once admitted something to me… “I thought your job was just putting posts up” And I really couldn’t blame him. The content that gets put up is the final product… the most visible part of what I do. Despite our regular strategy meetings, my monthly analytics updates, and our content approval process, he still carried this misconception about what a Social Media Manager *actually* does… So I explained to him that posting is a huge part of my job, yes, but the content we publish is incredibly intentional, planned strategically, based on hours of work he didn’t see… The truth is, getting millions of views or thousands of dream followers is *rarely* just luck. I was getting results just like that for this client and I loved working with him!! But his question was a reminder that lots of people, even those who have a SMM, don’t realize how much time and care goes into this work 💚 It makes me wonder how many business owners would benefit from having one and don’t even know it. If only they knew how much we take off your plate. Imagine NEVER obsessing over the numbers again. Like, that’s exactly what I’m here for!! And I love it.
