The Healthcare Heroes Award honors and recognizes the invaluable contributions of exceptional healthcare workers, both to their field and to the community at large. In 2009, Huneke founded the Griffin Hospital School of Allied Health Careers as a response to the need for qualified and compassionate phlebotomists.
