Our amazing Senior Strategist, Stef Jones, shares her insights and takeaways from this recent GA4 article: New AI Generated Insights: GA4 will provide insights on your data for you, however my question is how trustworthy and accurate are these insights? I would be hesitant to follow blindly! Cost Data Import: This is the coolest and most beneficial update, you can now connect most third-party advertising accounts to get a better holistic view of your campaigns Built-In Budgeting: Super skeptical how well this will work and what the overspend would be - I believe Google Ads “allows itself” to spend double your daily budget limit (without notice) and if you are not careful and choose a monthly budget - can charge up to 30.4x of your avg daily budget (again without notice). All in all, these features are great, but should not be 100% relied on. I worry that small teams will use this information and make bad campaign decisions because of inaccuracy. This would benefit someone looking at the numbers at least a couple times a week and can confirm they are receiving.
