Let's talk about the reality of being a UX designer—a journey akin to a rollercoaster ride. It's a dynamic adventure marked by highs, lows, and moments of uncertainty, especially when you're just starting out. Imposter syndrome? Yeah, it's a constant companion. Some days, progress feels elusive, like wading through quicksand. In a job market that's as competitive as ever, it's easy to get down on yourself. But here's the thing: take a step back and look at how far you've come. I recently revisited my early UX case studies, and wow, talk about a blast from the past! While I'm proud of where I began, the growth since then is like night and day. The past 8 months have been a whirlwind of learning and growth for me. Joining the amazing team at Velosaty was a game-changer. Start-up life? Scary at first, but man, did it push me out of my comfort zone! I've taken on leadership roles, eagerly devoured courses, and poured countless hours into refining my portfolio. And guess what? It's paying off. Sure, the journey ahead is still long and winding, but I'm pumped for what's next. Every course completed, every project tackled—it all adds up. To all my fellow designers out there: hang in there. Embrace the journey, celebrate your wins (no matter how small), and keep pushing forward. This is just the beginning, and I have faith that the best is yet to come! #uxdesign #celebrateyourwins

Celebrating Small Wins on the Road to Success 🛣 🌟 In our journey towards success, it's easy to overlook the small wins. But I’ve learned that these small wins are crucial. They keep us motivated and remind us that progress is happening. I remember starting my career as a UI/UX designer. There were days when I felt overwhelmed and questioned my abilities. But I started to change my perspective by celebrating every small achievement, no matter how minor it seemed. So whether you designed something new, learnt a new tool, took up a challenge/course or simply got positive feedback; Moments like these are worth celebrating. They boost your confidence and fuel your determination to keep going. Each small step forward is a building block towards your larger goals. They might seem insignificant on their own, but together, they create a path to success. So, take a moment today to reflect on how far you’ve come and give yourself credit for the progress you’ve made. Every step counts! Now tell me, what small wins have you celebrated recently? I’d love to hear from you! 📍 Design Challenge 📍 Day 41 of #70Rad What do you think? Did I nail it? 👍 UI shot by @Milos Bojkovic on Dribble. #Inspiration #Motivation #CelebrateSmallWins #Progress #SuccessJourney #DesignChallenge #UIDesign #UserExperience #ProductDesign

Currently at FlyMeOut - Product Design + UI/UX + User Experience Design | Curating Experiences that balance Business + Design + User Needs
Almost 50+ people, both from my network and beyond, have reached out to me. While some sought guidance, others were looking for inspiration to embark on their own journey. But most of them had the same question 'What does it take to be a UX Designer?', back then I was clueless about how to answer 😶 In the start of my career, I worked thrice as hard to pave my way into the industry. I braved the doubters and kept moving forward. It takes courage and unwavering self-belief to stand tall and say, "I know what I'm doing, and it's okay if I stumble along the way." If you ask me today, here are my few words of wisdom on what it takes to be a UX Designer: 👉 Don't sweat the feedback, it's like a secret recipe for getting better - embrace it! With Feedbacks, "the more, the merrier!" 👉Practise design and daily learning, as this is an ongoing journey that demands dedication, commitment, and a daily effort to self-improve. 👉 Dive into conferences, webinars, and UX meetups. You'll meet awesome folks who've wrestled the same challenges and have some epic tales to share! 👉 Expand your LinkedIn horizons! If you haven't realized its potential, consider it your personal playground for connecting with amazing professionals. Start now before the LinkedIn train leaves your station! 👉 The golden rule: Shower your fellow designers with appreciation, and let their genius inspire you. It's like a potluck of creativity – everyone brings a dish to the table! 👉 Lastly, keep your self-motivation game strong, and don't rob the fun by turning your life into a never-ending "compare-a-thon" with fellow designers. Let's not forget that every journey is unique, and every path has its own set of challenges. So, whether you've taken the traditional route or carved your own, here's to embracing our diverse journeys and spreading a little kindness around. 📝 PS: Very soon I will be posting about how I landed on my first job. Stay tuned! #uxdesign #userexperience #uiux #uidesign #uxcommunity #designthinking #digitaldesign #webdesign #usercentric #uxresearch #designinspiration #designtrends #figmadesign #figmacommunity #uxdesigner #designcommunity #uxuidesign #uxdesigner

Monday morning thoughts: Last week we had our first feedback session for our current project. It was staggering and an eye opener day 👀 After 3 weeks of working in flows, wireframes and processes we noticed half of what we believe wasn't really working 😵 Not that our work was bad 😦 but rather we were so caught up in believes, assumptions and our work that we missed some obvious needs, business objectives and the users perspective.🙅♀️ This point is half hindering and half encouraging. Because we need to stop and step back to see the bigger picture again to be able to "restart" the project with fresh eyes and ideas.🧐 How possible it is to disconnect from the ideas you have to be able to come up with new ones?🤔 I guess we will discover it this week.😉 So two things to look forward to this week: 1. Fresh start, fresh ideas, white canvas 🎨 2. This is a short week since All Saints holiday is happening. 🎉✨️ Happy week everyone!!! #inspiration #ux #motivation
