The German Federal Ministry of Defence | Bundesministerium der Verteidigung has submitted a request for 652 million euros ($697.18 million) to the parliament's budget committee to finance a hypersonic weapons development project with Norway. In mid-May, Norway's defence group KONGSBERG announced a partnership with Germany's Diehl Aviation and MBDA to develop a super-sonic missile known as 3SM Tyrfing. The HYPERMissile (TM) can reach Mach 25 and comes in 3 models. Further, HYPERMissile (TM) can be launched from air, land or sea and can be navigated using AI thereby optimizing precision targeting while delivering maximum payload. HYPERMissile (TM) is available and ready to go. #hyperfast #HYPERIANAerospace #airsupremacy https://hyperianaero.com/ #NGAD #hypersonic #airforce #usarmy #spaceforce #HYPERJet #HYPERMissile #HYPERBomber #HYPERLiner #hydrogen #aerospace #spaceflight #airsuperiority #NASA #BLACKSTAR

On this date (July 16) in 1969, Apollo 11 launched from Cape Kennedy with the objective to perform a moon landing and return to Earth. The mission carried Commander Neil Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins, and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the Moon on July 20, 1969. An estimated 650 million people watched Armstrong’s televised image and heard his voice describe the event as he took “…one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind”. This mission was the culmination of the Apollo program and a massive national commitment by the United States to beat the Soviet Union in putting people on the Moon. #hyperfast #HYPERIANAerospace #airsupremacy https://hyperianaero.com/ #NGAD #hypersonic #airforce #usarmy #spaceforce #HYPERJet #HYPERMissile #HYPERBomber #HYPERLiner #hydrogen #aerospace #spaceflight #airsuperiority #NASA #BLACKSTAR #apollo11

The U.S. and Germany announced the movement of more strategic weapons into Europe, including undeveloped hypersonic missile systems, as tensions continue to rise over Russia’s war in Ukraine. The White House said that in 2026, it will begin “episodic deployments” of the surface-to-air missile Standard Missile-6, Tomahawk cruise missiles and hypersonic weapons in Germany, which the U.S. said have “significantly longer range than current land-based fires in Europe.” Both the SM-6 and Tomahawks are primarily used as shipborne missiles. The U.S. has yet to develop a true hypersonic missile, which flies at least five times the speed of sound and is maneuverable in flight, though both Russia and China have fielded the weapons. Russia has also deployed a true hypersonic weapon in Ukraine. #hyperfast #HYPERIANAerospace #airsupremacy https://hyperianaero.com/ #NGAD #hypersonic #airforce #usarmy #spaceforce #HYPERJet #HYPERMissile #HYPERBomber #HYPERLiner #hydrogen #aerospace #spaceflight #airsuperiority #NASA #BLACKSTAR

The recent hot firing test of the #Ariane6 upper stage at the German Aerospace Center (DLR)'s P5.2 test stand was a success.✅🚀 The test focused on demonstrating operation of the upper stage under non-nominal conditions, notably of the APU (Auxiliary Propulsion Unit) which is unique hardware that allows Ariane 6 to be a versatile launcher and launch a diverse roster of missions. German Aerospace Center (DLR) and ArianeGroup teams carried out a test sequence profile that included loading the stage tanks and preparing for flight. Coming soon... Ariane 6 Another successful test of an Ariane 6 component. The upper stage was tested at the German space agency (DLR) facility near Lampholdshausen in a special test rig. Testing is a big part of launcher / satellite development. It requires skilled staff, special facilities, masses of sensors and recording capabilities plus the skills and tools to analyse the results. Staff must be able to distinguish between test set up induced anomalies and "real" anomalies.... which sounds simpler than it is. A fascinating field to work in.
