Today’s article has been living in the back of our mind for quite some time but we never got around to do it, for a reason or another. Yesterday we finally changed our mind, so we're here to tell you about one of our favorite red carpets of the year, thanks to the fabulous #LucyBoynton and her latest movie project: #TheGreatestHits.

John Cena's unorthodox entrance at the 96th Academy Awards certainly turned heads. Presenting the award for Best Costume Design, Cena first appeared in an outfit that could be generously described as "minimalist." While he swiftly transitioned to a more traditional ensemble for the actual presentation, the initial reveal left audiences, and likely many viewers at home, momentarily speechless. Naturally, questions arose. Was this a daring fashion statement, a playful jab at red carpet-conventions? Perhaps. But for many, the comedic element and last-minute change of plans suggested a more calculated approach – a potential publicity stunt designed to generate online buzz. The history of award shows is littered with attempts to push the boundaries of fashion. Lady Gaga's infamous meat dress at the 2010 VMAs springs to mind, as do Alexander McQueen's avant-garde creations that redefined red-carpet attire. Did Cena's entrance aim for a similar impact, albeit a more provocative one? It's certainly a discussion point. However, let's not allow this unexpected performance to overshadow the evening's true costume triumphs. The Best Costume Design award ultimately went to Holly Waddington for her exquisite work on the film 'Poor Things'. Here, intricate details and period-accurate portrayal combined to tell a story through clothing – a feat that stands in clear contrast to Mr. Cena's minimalist approach. #oscars2024 #oscars #johncena

ALETHEIA There comes a time in the life of everyone, during which one begins to feel unsatisfied or inadequate, as if crushed by a lid down. Nowadays this process of bewilderment is amplified not only by events such as war and the covid, but also and above all by the typical speed of industrial civilization. In this historical period, it is, by now, bombarded with information or news, rather even little reassuring and rosy for the future, that you are so saturated that now you do not have much to say or tell. Not only has everything already been told and therefore treated, but we find ourselves, in particular, faced with a verbal and expressive block. A sort of alienation or discomfort in which modern man finds himself living together day by day, in which every goal manifest itself unsatisfactory, every goal fails to complete the need or desire, thus running along its own straight, and it is just as you run that you start to fear that you are destined to run without any goal forever. The central point of the work is, therefore, the transmutation of verbal language into non-verbal language and, in particular, how movement can be translated into feeling.
