Kuopio Cathedral (Unreal Engine 5) Cinematic: This is my 3d rendition of an existing cathedral called Kuopio Cathedral. All assets were created by me except the vehicles which are from Epic Games The Matrix City Sample Vehicles. Modeling was done in Blender, texturing was done using Material Maker, Krita and Blender texturing tools. Rendering and scene setup was done in Unreal Engine 5 using Hardware Lumen and Nanite. Trees and foliage were made using Treeit. I composed the music myself with LMMS which is an open source music composing software. To create this concrete, grunge and futuristic prison environment, I used Autodesk Maya to model and unwrap my modular assets and individual specific props, Adobe Photoshop and Substance 3D Painter to create my trim textures, all with the aim to shine in Unreal Engine 5. During the process, it provided me valuable insights into the workflow of Environment Artist, from the very first basic blockout following my own references, to intricate detailing giving character and personality with materials, textures, specific props, and playing smart with your modular assets, moreover, I gained knowledge and ideas on how the spatialization for sound events could take place, creating logic and coherent soundscapes within the level, enhancing the overall immersive experience, through the event blueprints of Unreal. https://lnkd.in/ewbQ_GXq
