Image generation isn’t understanding—it is only creating pixels. Deeper understanding would be to create a scene with 3D objects, like in a game engine, and then to render it using shading and lighting and such. It’s analogous with LLMs, where the pixels are words. These words should be driven by an explicit world model.

Hey Guys, have been working on this node called Surface_VOP in Nuke which automatically converts a 2D plate into 3D Surface, Which will be very much useful for almost every compositor out there. Now, Liquid interaction, Tattoo, cloth, any kind of surface compositing is made easy, without any projection system. Apart from warping, Surface_VOP has inbuilt algorithms for colour blending and lighting interaction controls. This node will be avialable in nukepedia soon with further improvements. Node and advanced procedural system used in here will be talked about in follow up blog, Stay tuned for weekly blogs. 💭
