‘Hidden design elements’ -the more I look at this fairytale the more obvious the only thing ‘clever’ here is the way Ford is covering up things that they didn’t know or plan for -or include on thier overrated feature list. You can bet the ‘unknown’ options will become completely gone as they do a more thorough job to find marketable mistakes that the designers have missed, and put a number value to it on the window sticker. Ford has been called out publicly on this issue and this article is an ‘Easter Egg’ to corporate to do nothing more but put future additional money in thier pockets. Praising a company for ANY flaws is a recipe for consumer bankruptcy. If ANYONE thinks this article is good for anyone but the Ford Motor Company, think again. This just paves the road further in the absurd price justification and clears the path for future ‘feature’ charges. I’ve already mentioned- instead of worrying about covering your hack-designers and profiting from it, why not put the focus back to perfecting the products KNOWN functionality? Get that right, THEN let’s see ‘hidden attributes’. Youre only fooling yourself if you think this article is geared toward consumer experience. Get your head out of the sand and hold them accountable .

If Ford spent a fraction of the money they have dumped into EV’s (and lost to the tune of billions of dollars) and improved manufacturing processes and quality control they would rule the car industry. Instead they have more the 6 million vehicles on recall, disappointed customers and billions in repair costs. This is a losing strategy. I love Ford but it’s hard to see them in business in 15 years at this rate if they don’t fundamentally improve vehicle quality and drop this ridiculous EV obsession. The government shouldn’t have to subsidize and or force people to buy a product. If it can’t sell on its own merits it should be dropped!

Surely Ford and their mighty new friends at VW have the night to stand up to the driving force behind this ludicrous world being forced upon us namely the EU. We can then stop the rape of Mother Earth for the raw materials to build batteries for a world that does not want battery powered cars and concentrate on making better more reliable cars. We do not need radar guided cruise, lane departure, complex radio screens which control the vehicles (I believe it’s the latter which causes more accidents given the distraction required from the task in hand to change something simple like the temperature or radio station). Go back to your roots by making affordable and reliable cars that people want rather than building cars that the EU want us to drive in their persuit towards driverless cars.

These "Eggs" are so impactful for creating a dual experience (1. Employee Engagement: Driving Pride and creating a successful Culture from those teams that brought you the product. 2. Consumers: Creating Brand Loyalty while using design to invoke and emotional engagement for the consumer.) These eggs are thoughtful and smart, placed and designed to invoke a lovely surprise. It is "Thoughtful Design" at its best. Well Done Ford Team! #FordHiddenEggs #ThoughtfulDesign #ConsumerEngagement #Branding #Strategy #Design

Details matter to the end user. They can be the source of unexpected joy and an emotional connection. It's particularly encouraging that Ford allows for this in products tailored to ordinary working class Americans who deserve this joy as much as do wealthy elites. Most consumers will never purchase the luxury products that have details that bring joy to the wealthy, e.g., a Ferrari, an Audemars Piguet chronograph, a Gulfstream jet, a bespoke suit. I think it's awesome we all can get a little bit of joy and fun at our local Ford dealer.

It is great that Ford makes room for these initiatives. No doubt that these kinds of details, explored throughout the usage of the vehicle, would strengthen the emotional bond between drivers and passengers with their vehicles. I am imagining some more sophisticated "Easter eggs" beyond visual details, with surprise functionalities, hidden compartments, or gamification to unlock badges and provide tips for exploring the full potential of the vehicle. This may maximize customer experience and satisfaction, eventually leading to stronger customer-based brand equity. Additionally, this could enable Ford to have absolute control of the product usage journey, along with the perks of the age of AI.

I would love to know more about the warranties and liabilities. I am a legal studies student. I own an Expedition and was planning on buying another ford. Until I was assigned to do a Research paper on lemon law on ford. I was so disappointed on everything I found out. I will not want an unreliable vehicle and a company that could not back up their product.

I firmly believe that consumer safety must be your top priority. Thus, I urge you to promptly issue a recall on the secondary fuel filter in diesel trucks, which is currently under investigation by NHTSA, given the unexpected fire that occurred in my 2019 Ford F250 without any warning or sensor activation. #NHTSA #FordMotorCompany #ODI #Fordrecall #Fordsafety #Forddieselfire Here is a link to the video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dX0TCySKA1A&feature=youtu.be
