There is no such thing as "premium advertising". It simply does not exist. There are premium advertising environments, which are a byproduct of quality media environments. Audiences don’t roam the internet in search for "premium ads". They are attracted by quality content, which also might or might not carry ads. And while it is also true that a premium media environment is the foundation and condition for the existence of premium advertising, it doesn't mean that any ad in a quality media context will automatically become "premium". However, the opposite is true: a bad, low-quality ad will lower the standard and the quality of the media environment in which it is served. That's why it is important for quality media owners to envision and manage their advertising revenue channels through strict best practices. One element of it should be a direct relationship with the advertiser.
