Experian Hyderabad's CSR committee recently organized a volunteer day at its office in the spirit of community and service. The event was brimming with activities aimed at fostering teamwork and community participation. The Clay Bowl Painting saw 75 volunteers creatively painting clay bowls, which they would later use to feed birds and enrich the local environment. The Seed Ball Making saw 80 volunteers crafting seed balls to promote sustainability, and taking them home to plant in their gardens. The team also organized a blood donation drive with 63 employees impacting countless lives. Participants not only contributed actively to meaningful causes but also enjoyed a sense of camaraderie and fulfilment throughout the activities. Thank you to all who participated, embodying the spirit of corporate citizenship and setting an inspiring example. #ExperianHyderabad #CSR #Inspiring

CEO, DV Survivor Turned Thriver I Disabled Army Iraq Combat War Veteran I Educator for Awareness in Advocating against DV, Spousal Rape, MST, Child Abuse, PTSD & Discrimination I Profound Speaker I Author I Humanitarian.
A few weeks ago I reached out to connect w/several of you- who's profile shown you either directly or indirectly worked w/the DV population. Thus, I took for granted that "everyone" had either personally experienced DV or Sexual Assaults'- or has/had a close relative- or loved one who experienced DV; which, set a passion w/in you to establish a private or 501c DV agency -or becoming a member of an elite DV organization- solely b/c of that fact. Fortunately, there were several who were transparent- stated in their bio- profile- they were a DV or Sexual Assault Victim/ Survivor- others stated they've "personal" experience w/DV or Sexual Assault. That too, I can respect- b/c it sends the message to whomever visits your page that- you can relate to them b/c of your past personal experience - not just by what you read in a text book or during face to face- hands on clinicals; but, you've actually experienced the trauma to relate. I began w/80 connections- recently deleted several- now 28. Numbers doesn't mean anything to me- however, what does is-connecting w/individuals who have established their own private or 501c DV-Sexual Assaults' agencies & are not concerned about self glorifications- accolades & awards given to them for astounding speeches on topics of DV or Sexual assaults -nor am I concerned about how many years someone worked -studied - or how many DV calls a police officer responded to. Nothing's' wrong with any of it- I applaud you all; but that isn't the lane I need to be in. Finally, weeks ago I shared on one of my FB post- there have been an influx of DV agencies popping up like wild flowers- noticeably about the latter of 2018 -even more so- soon after COVID. There was a time- there weren't many DV agencies in local cities-& those that were well known to everyone in the community became very lackadaisical in their hiring process- resulting in staff harboring donated items that were often donated to the facilities for individuals & families- Much of the donated items would be taken home by staff. So, I pray this won't be the case w/the recent private/501c agencies- but actually Do the Right thing -don't just establish a 501c agency b/c you don't have to pay taxes, or b/c that's something you always wanted to do; but do it b/c this is your way of paying it forward-by helping other Victims & Survivors become self sufficient & be able to utilize the tools they've learned from being in your facility(s) - I don't know how much of a passion anyone has in establishing a DV agency, but if their passion is anything like mine or more, then I know they & their agency will be a SUCCESS & the individuals & families they service will definitely benefit. Good thing is - individuals & families of DV are aware there's now many more choices to choose from for safety; therefore, they & their family(s) never have to stay at any DV facility where the facility is not living up to its full potential in providing the services that many profess to provide.

The other day, I led this campaign project at work that I am so excited to share with you…... “Code Red Campaign was the Project, an initiative to empower women in our society through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). So, what exactly was this Code Red Campaign?🤔 This was an initiative that focused on providing essential hygiene kits such as sanitary pads and innerwear, aiming to fight period poverty in underserved communities and prisons. We donated essential and dignity kits to women and young children in need, including those at the Women's Prisons, which not only made a difference in their lives but also on how our brand is perceived. (PS: This is where I also learnt that children under 4 years stay with their mothers in prison) … This project was implemented across various regions in the country and I can say for sure…. it was a rewarding experience. It allowed me to connect with communities, improve brand perception, and build our organization’s positive reputation. It's amazing how a simple act of kindness can go a long way in making a difference and boosting your brand's visibility. This campaign was a testament to the power of empathy, compassion, and human connection. It highlighted the importance of extending a helping hand to those in need, irrespective of their circumstances. I would encourage brands to consider incorporating CSR initiatives into their business strategies. This goes a long way in helping your brand grow and improve its perception with your audience. I would like to hear on the comment section, is there a project that you participated in that made you feel how I did about the Code Red Campaign? #BrandVisibility #CSR #EmpoweringWomen #CodeRedCampaignProject

Formerly incarcerated individuals face significant challenges when it comes to finding employment due to the stigma associated with their criminal history. However, in an effort to promote fair hiring practices and improve reentry outcomes, some jurisdictions have implemented "Ban the Box" legislation. The primary purpose of "Ban the Box" legislation is to give formerly incarcerated individuals a fair chance at employment by delaying inquiries about their criminal history until later in the hiring process. The name "Ban the Box" refers to the checkbox on job applications that applicants are typically asked to check if they have a criminal conviction. 🚫War is not for children. 2023 has again been a year marked by war and conflict in many places around the world. This has made life and existence for some of the world's most vulnerable children even more uncertain, unsafe and dangerous. At Orange Cyberdefense we believe that the world should be a safe place for children to grow up. That is why we have chosen to donate all profits from the sale of NetClean Technologies' solutions, which can detect CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material) in companies' IT environments and on the Internet, to Save the Children Denmark. Christmas is about joy, gratitude, thoughtfulness and hope, and that is the message we would like to pass on to the children who are the most vulnerable in the world. Our ambition is to "Build a safer digital society". This is what we work for every day. That is why we had no doubt that our collaboration with NetClean should be non-profit and that we would donate all profits to Save the Children. In addition, we have also chosen to skip the employee Christmas gifts this year and put an extra amount on top of the donation. We know that Save the Children will use the donation in a way that will make a real difference to many vulnerable children's lives. If you also want to support Save the Children's work, you can donate here: Private: https://redbarnet.dk/ Company: https://lnkd.in/dapgkU6Y #RedBarnet #SaveTheChildren #ProtectWhatMatters #SaferDigitalSociety #Donation
Job vs Career. Seven years ago, when TACT first started, the state of the neurodiversity community looked very different. If you've heard me present, I'll often reference that TACT was turned down for insurance 13 times. (that's true, it happened) The idea of putting tools into autistic teens' and young adults' hands with hands-on, project-based/skills-based learning proved to be too much for some insurers. But we found a good agent and broke down that barrier. That was one of countless barriers we've had to break to get this far. I've lost count of how many we've had to break. We hope you've seen the outcomes and outputs of what the TACT community has achieved. One broken barrier that means a lot, on a personal level, is helping individuals, donors, and the community at large understand there is a difference between a job and a career. Pre-TACT, most individuals would end up working in a grocery store or restaurant. And still, if that's what someone wants - awesome! Let's help them do that. But if they wanted more or something different, the option wasn't there. TACT has completely shifted the narrative of what's possible. Our grads get careers - with advancement, growth, and futures with independence. As a community, we've moved further forward. But there is still so far to go. We need your help to not only keep it going but help us bring TACT everywhere. Please donate to support us. For businesses, we have rooms with naming rights available, too! We need support to keep this movement going. Please donate here and thank you for Building with TACT: https://lnkd.in/eJYyaVWe

I've always lived in Bengaluru, but before, it was like I was in a grey, confusing world, especially with school. My name is Ranjini (name changed), and I want to tell you about how everything became bright and happy for me at the Ashwini Charitable Trust (ACT). Letters and numbers used to be like a mixed-up puzzle that I just couldn't get right, making school really tough. Then, something awesome happened – Ms. Anu (name changed) came into my life from ACT, and it was like she brought magic with her. Slowly, I realized that learning was not confusing or scary for me anymore; it was like going on a treasure hunt every day, finding out cool stuff about letters and numbers. She made me see that I could do things I thought were too hard. I call her Anu Aunty, and she's like a superhero to me. She showed me that every tricky thing is just an adventure waiting to happen. With her help, all the pieces started to fit together, and I began to think, "I can really do this!" She's more than a teacher – she's like the best friend who guides you when you are lost. I’m sharing my story to say a huge thank you to Anu Aunty and all the kind people at ACT who give their time to light up our days. They help us believe in our dreams and give us the magic keys to chase them. If you're hearing this and think you might want to make someone's day brighter, why not give volunteering a try? You could change someone's world, just like Anu Aunty changed mine. I'm really proud to be a part of the Ashwini Charitable Trust. My story shows how one volunteer can potentially change a life. Come join us and let us make more happy stories together. #volunteeringchangeslives #educationforall #actvolunteers #childsuccessstories #makeanimpact #brighterfutures #mentorshipmatters #volunteerstories #empowermentthrougheducation #communityheroes #givebacktothecommunity #lifelonglearning #changemakers #inspiringyouth #volunteerwithact #transforminglives #hopeanddreams #educationaljourney #supportthecause

Let's talk about Ally ship |Equity, Diversity & Inclusion | Corporate Social Responsibilities | Diverse Recruitment | Inclusive Management Coaching | Lean Practitioner | Continuous Improvement
Today I delivered a training webinar to AssuredPartners , a best practice for an interview process and competency framework. A competency framework has many benefits, the key one for Changing Hearts & Minds Consulting Ltd is the way this structured approach to evaluating candidates based on their skills, knowledge and abilities helps to minimize bias. Removing the gut-feeling approach to hiring because someone looks and sounds like the interviewer. Instead it focuses on behaviours, skills, and attitudes rather than demographics or backgrounds. Interested in arranging a webinar for your hiring community on compentency based interviewing? DM or email Lee@heartsandmindschange.com Website details in the comments. A donation will be made to the Outside Project, an LGBTQIA+ Community Shelter, Centre and Domestic Abuse Refuge in response to endangered, who are homeless and feel on the outside of services due to historical and present prejudice in society and in their homes. When coming across homelessness in our day to day lives often one question comes to mind...Why? There is no definite answer. But we aim to help combat issues we know for sure. We are starting with Chicago youth who don't have their basic citizen needs to even be able to get back on their feet. Some of those things include social security cards, birth certificates, and/or basic hygiene products. On November 16th, we’re asking our people to give up their beds for one night to sleep outside in solidarity with youth experiencing homelessness. It’s not about pretending to be homeless. We are sleeping out, so they don’t have to! By committing to Sleep Out, and sharing this commitment with co-workers, family and friends, we will raise awareness and much-needed funds for youth homelessness. Your gift goes directly to Covenant House, a non-profit organization that shelters and cares for nearly 2,000 young people each night in 34 cities across the United States. Watch the short video below to see reactions from the youth as we Sleep Out for them! Will you stand with me as I do my part to support these youth by making a donation and help us reach our $1Million goal? By making a donation and helping me achieve our team's fundraising goal of $1,000,000, we will send you materials for the virtual event on November 16th or you can take part in the Sleep Out with us in person. Each donation helps me achieve an Accenture matching donation of up to $1,000. What will your donations do? $30: Two new personal hygiene kits and toiletries $50: Three nutritious meals for one resident every day for one week $100: 24-hour Crisis Care for one resident for one day or a week of meals for two kids $250: The cost of fuel for an outreach van for one week $275: provides medical care for one teenager
