For eleven years, Finns have rated Fazer one of the most reputable companies in Finland, and this year Fazer topped the ranking for the first time. Today, during our weekly standup*, Jorge Lluch kicked us off by talking about and highlighting our values at Abacum. When he and Julio Martínez founded the company in March 2020, deciding on the values was at the top of their priority list. It was crucial for them that before anything, Abacum would be a value driven company..and 4 values were born 💥 I love that about our company´s story! 💙 In our meeting today, there were stories shared of the values team members hold dearly, and why. It was really cool to hear perspectives and what my colleagues feel most aligned to. For example, for the FP&A team, Customer Obsession really is at the heart of everything they do! What i´ve experienced since joining Abacum 1 month ago... is that values at Abacum are *not* just words written on the wall. They are lived and practiced intentionally each day with every interaction both inside the company, and outside with our clients and customers. What a wonderful thing it is to be surrounded by ¨Good People¨! 🤩 ✨*fun fact..at Abacum we call our weekly standups/allhands ¨STOA¨. Why? 💡 We've been a #BCorp for so long that we're now in the process of renewing our certification! We obtained our B Corp certification in 2021, and as the certification lasts three years, it's time to get it renewed. Why do we value this certification? ➡️ Because it guarantees the positive and transparent nature of our day-to-day work. This certification recognises that we act in the public interest: EcoTree is not satisfied with generating profits, it works to serve society and the environment. ➡️ Because being part of the B Lab France network and B Lab Nordics network is an asset for any company. ➡️ Because it is a certification that obliges us to our partners, our employees and society as a whole. Obtaining B Corp certification is not the end goal; it's a starting point for developing new actions that have a positive impact. So what's next? 👇🏼 The certification's value is directly correlated with the length and rigour of its process. To renew this certification, we answered over 300 questions in 6 different categories, work meticulously carried out by Louisiane Guezel, whom we'd like to thank very much!
