56 years ago in July 1968 the European Customs Union was established - a historic milestone for Europe! The Common Customs Tariff eliminated customs duties and import quotas among the six members states of the European Economic Community, paving the way for a seamless European market. Today the Customs Union continues to bring many benefits: 📈 Increased trade within the EU, driving economic growth and making businesses more competitive. 🛒 A wider range of products at competitive prices, with high safety and quality standards. ✅ More jobs and innovation thanks to the the free movement of goods, capital, services, and labour. 🔒 Strengthened collaboration across borders to fight organised crime, trafficking, and money laundering. From a Customs Union with six countries to the world's largest trading bloc with 27 countries, here's to many more years of unity and prosperity!

Je comprend l ouverture des frontières, cela interroge pour les français géographiquement éloigner. Mais nous frontalier de Belgique, l Europe c est se déplacer, échanger, commercer ou s instruire sans soucis de nationalité. L Europe favorise la démocratie.
I will never be reconciled to the fact that the UK voted to leave. On no level will this ever make sense to me. I grieve the lost opportunities for my children and my children's children. The sooner sense prevails and we become full participants again (albeit that we will never have as sweet a deal as that which we relinquished), the better!

The UK needs to be back in the Customs Union & back in the UK completely, 58% of the nation wants to Re-join the EU, and despite the silence by all political parties in the General Election, no party has a mandate whoever wins to claim the public supporters their positions because they did not raise Brexit or discuss their position. The UK's place is with its allies and within the EU, a bogus referendum with no legally binding outcome was forced on the nation with just 37% supporting Brexit, and now just 31% still think Brexit has any merit. Brexit has made the UK poor, weak and voiceless, it has achieved not a single positive for the UK, it's been eight years but the majority reject it today as strongly as they rejected the result! Our politicians and our political parties have failed to represent the majority and hide behind weak claims that Brexit is wanted, nope it's not! The UK population will no longer stay quiet we want our star back!
