🚀 The European space industry has just launched into a new era.     Last night, Europe's new heavy-lift rocket, #Ariane6, made its inaugural flight from Europe's Spaceport in French Guiana.    Just one hour after liftoff, the first set of onboard satellites were released from the upper stage and placed into an orbit 600 km above Earth.    The latest in Europe’s Ariane rocket series, Ariane 6 can launch both heavy and light payloads to a wide range of orbits for applications such as Earth observation, telecommunication, meteorology, science and navigation.    It is a key step towards a secure and autonomous European access to space. Congratulations to the teams at European Space Agency - ESA, CNES and ARIANESPACE on this success!     📷© ESA     #EuropeanUnion #EUSpace

This is NOT a new era 🙄🤦🏻♂️ Old-school concepts and technology that is not reusable to begin with … Can’t compete commercially with Falcon 9 nor Falcon Heavy … And will be completely obliterated once Starship becomes commercially operational .. At best it’s a nice yesteryear engineering masterpiece .. 🤷🏻♂️ It is sadly showing the true state of Europe’s ambition, which are non existent 😢

👍💙💚🌏🌎🌍🎉innovation, technology and competition for various innovations, (one*** solving problems)*, climate problems, inflation, economic crisis, crime, poverty etc., is there a way out (there were scientists in the past who could reduce these problems), even though it was simple? ??? but useful, example: China, consciously or unconsciously has implemented it, almost 80% of developing countries have not implemented it, the United States has a lot of technology and is starting to forget simple things...

Many will probably disagree with the following. However, if full cycle from terrible rockets to functional falcon 9 took roughly 1 billion dollars. Ariane 6 is 4 Billion. 4... And it is not even reusable... New era of what? Am I missing something?

Heartwarming to see Ariane 6 launching decades after the first Ariane 5 went up, precious memories. Ah, la nostalgie d'il y tant d'années 😊 🇫🇷 🇪🇺 !
