We're thrilled to be featured in a recent Stanford Social Innovation Review article! 🙌 In 'To Save Democracy, Fund Organizing,' Loren McArthur emphasizes the crucial role that organizing plays in revitalizing our democracy. But to achieve this at scale, we must address progressive movement groups' financial challenges. Since our launch in 2017, Progressive Multiplier has helped organizations develop and scale independent revenue strategies. By providing targeted support, we help movement groups to reduce reliance on institutional philanthropy. This financial independence allows nonprofits to be sustainable, accountable to the communities they serve, and to respond to their needs agilely 🌱 👁️🗨️ https://lnkd.in/eENvrVYY [#Philanthropy #Organizing #NonProfit #Fundraising #FundraisingStrategy #ProgressiveNonProfits #ProgressiveMovement #CapacityBuilding]

Wow! What an amazing event to kick off Black Philanthropy Month! I learned a lot from NGAAP guest speaker, Michelle Muri, about the importance of Community-Centric Fundraising. A fundraising model with principles grounded in race, equity and social justice. It works to: * Prioritize the entire community over individual organizations * Foster a sense of belonging and interdependence * Present our work not as individual transactions but holistically * Encourage mutual support between nonprofits #BPM2023CLT https://lnkd.in/geWjC86g

August is #BlackPhilanthropyMonth, a celebration of the legacy of Black giving and the ingenuity of Black philanthropic leadership.
