I have developed the basic UI for the menu interface. I included a unique icon that follows what buttons you hover over whenever using a keyboard or a mouse. The game utilizes a custom Graph class for efficient edge management and square detection. The grid is generated on mount and maintains its state throughout the game using references, significantly reducing unnecessary re-renders. Connection handling leverages the Graph's adjacency list, allowing for O(1) edge addition and neighbor checks. Square detection employs a custom algorithm that only evaluates potential squares formed by the most recent connection, avoiding the need to check the entire grid. This approach uses the Graph's hasEdge method to verify square completion in constant time. It's still in development and I have roadmap in mind to extend it with more fun and interesting features. I'm thrilled to announce that I've successfully completed my Week 4 and final task as part of the web development program by VaultofCodes. I'm excited to share that I've developed the popular Flappy Bird game using JavaScript. Features: -->Click space bar or ↑ or W key to make the bird move up and navigate through pipes. -->Scores are displayed on the topmost left corner. -->Simple, addictive gameplay that brings back the nostalgia of the original game. I used HTML5 canvas for rendering the game graphics. JavaScript for the game logic, including physics and collision detection. CSS for styling and layout. The difficulty level can be increased by adjusting factors such as the negative horizontal velocity of the pipes, the frame rate, or by introducing additional obstacles, among other methods. I learned a lot while building this game and had a great time doing it. Game Development: "GraviBalls" (old project) A very old project with broken User Interface. is a rolling ball game with gravity adjustment based on touched object tilts. Thought it's discontinued for now. In my newest game Project I have learnt about Canvas Scaling for better UI. refactoring using SOLID Principles code for code maintainability and readibility. NavMesh Surface, Terrain, etc.

DEVLOG #14: It's been a long time since my last post and currently I'm working on a new game and I'm experimenting with new shaders to implement it. I am revisiting the earlier work which was a comic book shader with halftone pattern and hatching lines. * By Default it works as a simple toon Shader. * Calculating the shadows and adding halftone pattern and hatching line pattern to create a simple comic effect. 🌟 🚀 Day 44/100 #100daysofcodechallenge 🚀 🌟 💡 Leveraging the Power of useRef Hook in the "Click-the-Shape" Game 🎮 Click-the-Shape Game 🎮 In the "Click-the-Shape" game, players are presented with a container that randomly generates and displays different shapes like circles and squares. These shapes disappear after 3 seconds, and the player's objective is to click on them to earn points. Every successful click increments the score, but clicking on a blank space results in a pop-up alert. In our game project, we harnessed the power of useRef in a few key ways: 🔸 Shape Container Reference: We utilized useRef to dynamically track the shape container's dimensions, ensuring that shapes stay within the visible area on screens of all device sizes. 🔸 Pop-Up Message: Through the useRef hook, we controlled the display of the pop-up element.
