We are a high voltage test lab, but one of my favorite things about our Wadsworth location is the sheer number of subjects we must consider to effectively do our work: electricity and magnetism, circuits, automation, chemistry, semiconductor physics, powder physics, data collection and analysis, heat transfer, manufacturing, experimental design, power generation and distribution, etc., etc. We have planned some hands-on, practical work to help us identify and eliminate sources of uncertainty in our experiments (a powerful tool to develop for anyone interested in working in a lab). But I also have some extremely interesting side projects in the realms of Fourier Analysis and Semiconductor Physics sure to excite a physics/math nerd. "#success comes the way you are!" hello #connections , I am glad to share that i have completed a two-week internship on '#design Aspect of #analog circuit with insights into #layoutdesign '. This intership was found very useful to me as i could make my basics little more stronger. The session was all about the basics of #amplifier and its #characteristics. we had a discussion on #linear and #nonlinear characteristics of an #mosfet. Along with this, we learnt on #gain of the amplifier in different regions of #operations. In addition to this, we learnt on the transfer function of the #amplifier , basics of #cmos and few example design on #industrial viewpoints. I also had a hands-on experience on designing an effective layouts. This gave me an immense #knowledge on few key concepts like #currentmirror, #differential amplifier .These concepts helped me to layout design on #operational amplifier. Analog Electronics for Placements/Internships Episode 4: Building a proper CV 1. Mention all your relevant Technical Skills like Circuit Analysis and Synthesis, Basic Hardware and Programming, Microcontroller Architecture and Programming, etc. 2. Mention all the relevant subjects and topics that you have studied in "Relevant Courses Undertaken" section. Also, mention the sources (preferably books or standard lectures) from where you have studied. 3. I mostly recommend mentioning low voltage projects (with details) in your CV. Don't mention Power Electronics projects until and unless it is asked in the job profile of the company. 4. Many juniors keep asking me this question, "What if I don't have any project?". Well, it is not compulsory for a fresher to complete a well-structured project except the fact that, doing a decent project will surely make you stand out. However, there are other ways to stand out too. You can study some advanced topics in electronics domain to show your knowledge and interest in the field.
