With the weather changing and the holiday parties, there is a high likelihood of catching a cold or getting sick which means the consumption of lots of tissues. Now might be a good time to consider switching to hankies which can be washed and reused. This might also be a great stocking stuffer/holiday gift to consider for the eco-conscious people in your circle. Handkerchiefs are also easy to clean by just throwing them in with your normal wash and they come out perfect, ready to be used again. When they're made from natural fibers like cotton or linen, they will not be chemically coated or smell that way. Sustainably made tissues (bamboo, recycled paper) are a great alternative to have on hand for company and guests. Did you know that approximately 3,000 tons of tissue paper are tossed in the trash in the US every day which means that 17 trees were also taken down and processed? A spare hanky can be used to cover your hands for dirty doorknobs or handrails or to dry your hands. So, imagine the impact you could have by changing to hankies. #thesustainableorganizer #professionalorganizer #professionalorganizing #sustainable #climatechange #sustainableorganizer #sustainability #sustainableliving #sustainablelifestyle #sustainablehome #sustainablelife #gogreen #savetheplanet #plasticfree #reducereuserecycle #bethechange #climateaction #ecofriendly #recycle #green #environment"

Hello, Green Warriors! Today at The Greener Company, we’d like to delve deeper into the "green heart" of our sustainable straws - the Raw Materials. 🌍 Our revolutionary straws are crafted from nature's finest - Sugarcane, Reed, and Wheat. We embrace the gifts of nature, repurposing these versatile materials into a tangible solution for the global plastic straw crisis. Let's take a closer look: 🎍Sugarcane: Often overlooked, the residual waste from sugarcane production serves as a fantastic raw material. These resilient fibers create sturdy, compostable straws that are perfect for any beverage. A sweet solution, indeed! 🎋Reed: The robust stems of aquatic reed plants pave the way for durable, heat-resistant straws. Their natural strength makes them suitable for both hot and cold beverages, so you can sip with ease, knowing your straw won't crumble. 🌾Wheat: Our most cost-effective alternative comes straight from the farm. Wheat straws are crafted from leftover wheat stems, making them the epitome of upcycling. And the best part? Once you're done, these straws return to nature seamlessly. At The Greener Company, we're committed to revolutionizing sustainability while ensuring an uncompromised user experience. Our straws are all about sipping with satisfaction and saving the planet, one drink at a time! Your journey into sustainability starts with a simple choice. What are you sipping from today? Let's make this interactive. Ask me anything about the sourcing and processing of these natural materials. Post your questions in the comments below, or send a DM. Let's shape a greener world together! As always, TAG BELOW your favorite restaurants, cafes, or bars below to spread the message. Together, we can lead the sustainable revolution! 🌍💪🍹 #Sustainability #TheGreenerCompany #SayNoToPlasticStraws #restaurants #bars #coffee #smoothies #hospitalityindustry

We're always looking for new ways to reduce our environmental footprint! Here are our top three: 1. Skip the dryer and opt for air-drying your clothes whenever possible. Dryers consume a lot of energy, and air-drying helps conserve electricity and extend the life of your garments. 2. Incorporate more plant-based meals into your diet. Cutting back on meat consumption can significantly lower your carbon footprint and contribute to a more sustainable food system. 3. Get creative with old items! Turn that worn-out t-shirt into a reusable shopping bag or repurpose glass jars into stylish storage containers. Upcycling reduces the need for new products and minimises waste. Share your best eco-friendly life hack in the comments. 🍃 . . . . #ecobusiness #ecobusinessaustralia #greenbusiness #ethicalbusiness #ethicalbusinessaustralia #carbonfootprint #lifehacks #sustainableliving #ecofriendlyproducts #consciousbeauty #cleanbeauty #ecobeauty #consciousskincare #sustainablebeauty #greenskincare #ethicalbeauty #ethicalskincare #ecoskincare #skincarestockists #ecobeauty #ecoconsiousskincare #conciousconsumers #conciousbrand #holistichealth #holisticwellness #holisticskincare #holisticbeauty #holistichealthperth #perthwellness #perthsustainability

The decision to live as sustainably as possible can be looked upon as a journey, not a destination. It takes time to transition and even after you've transitioned into more sustainable practices, you'll continue to make new discoveries and learn new tips and tricks to live your optimal sustainable lifestyle. Today let's look at the kitchen. Here are some of my favorite sustainable kitchen tips: 1. Reduce food waste: Plan your meals, store food properly and take advantage of eating leftovers the next day, 2. Opt for eco-friendly cookware. 3. Conserve energy, many larger appliances offer EnergyStar ratings. 4. Minimize single use items: swap paper napkins for cloth, use a water filtration system instead of single use plastic water bottles and the same goes for single use plastic bags, swap them out for washable silicon ziplock bags. 5. Buy local and organic food whenever possible: Support your local farmers and farmers' markets. 6. Swap out plastic food storage containers for glass. 7. Grow your own herbs. 8. Use eco-friendly cleaning products. Seeking your dream kitchen where you can live your most sustainable life? Let's discuss your wish list.
