What does The Terminator & Adobe's very own Morgan Prygrocki have in common? Warning: Slight fandom ahead 📽 On a beautiful sunny Southern California day in Highland park, Morgan and I were able to dive into the current impact of artificial intelligence on generative art and content creation, and what that means for the creative and marketing industries. It was fun to know that Morgen is a huge T-2 fan, but just as cool were the T-2 cat iterations she did within Adobe Firefly which she showcased at an Adobe event at NeueHouse earlier this year. Speaking of Terminator 2, James Cameron's 1995 blockbuster was a cautionary tale that has come of age alongside the current age of artificial intelligence. As Open AI demonstrated in a robot demo this year, is a Skynet scenario just around the corner? Or am I getting too caught up in science fiction? Fortunately, Morgan and I were able to keep things light, but I still walked away with some key insights into how tools like Adobe's AI can empower great people and their creativity 🎨 👇 Here are some of my key takeaways: 1️⃣ Firefly is Adobe's answer to generative AI, built on a foundation of responsible innovation. Its learning models use licensed or public domain content, protecting artists' rights and promoting transparency. 2️⃣AI streamlines repetitive tasks, allowing creatives to focus on what matters most - being creative. This allows more space for creative and original ideas to shine! 3️⃣Despite the growing role of AI, human creativity and emotion are irreplaceable. No AI can replicate the unique vision and emotional depth of human creators. 4️⃣"I'll be back." With the introduction of computer learning, it's important to note that current iterations of AI are just the beginning. Think of it as "Terminator 1". Newer versions, like a "T2," may be closer than they seem 🔎 Given the undeniable iconic status of the first two Terminator films, it is truly remarkable to see the tools available today to help budding creators bring their ideas to life. Whether it's through AI-powered marketing, story-boarding, or content planning, this is opening the door for the next original screenwriter, writer, or creative director to make their mark - a daydream or the stuff of science fiction? You be the judge. 👨⚖️
