Dark web - what is it ? The dark web is a part of the Internet that lets people hide their identity and location from other people and from law enforcement. As a result, the dark web can be used to sell stolen personal info. To access the dark web, you can't use Google Search or browsers, such as Chrome or Safari. Instead, you need to use software designed specifically for this purpose, such as Tor or I2P. Dark web probably includes less than 0.01 per cent of internet. How you can monitor your data in dark web? For me, I am doing this using Google ONE service . Today, I received email from Google on dark web report. This report includes when and where my PII data was breached. And, I can see the report matches with previous incidents like when LinkedIn announced their data breach . If you have access to Google One , you can get this report as well. Thanks to Google One service for such action and helping me to monitor dark web . A very useful breakdown of the whole issue of #PayOrOkay 👇 #BigTech should not be charging us for our #right to #privacy. How many users would be able to afford to pay 20 euros for one account (#Meta) per phone? Combine that with all the other apps people use, include websites and laptops, and you end up with an astronomical sum to be able access those apps. ❗ The economic argument Max Schrems voiced is also substantial. "If #bigtech cannot use your data for revenue, you should compensate by paying them directly instead." This argument is ludicrous, since the ad revenue per user per month is slightly over 1 euro, and NOT 20 euros per month per user.

Privacy is like health, you don't think about it until it's gone. Be proactive and start small by making it more difficult for companies and bad players to have access to your digital footprint.
