Always thought the best shrek sequal would involve his 3 kids. One wanting to be human, one wanting to be an ogre fundamentalist, and another that is dealing more with the intercultural identity. Shrek and Fiona try to help their kids, but it is hard to figure out what is the good impulse and what is a bad one. So it becomes more about "Who do you want do be is more important than who you don't want to be. You have to be happy with who you are and not running from the parts of you that you are ashamed of". BUT seeing as Dreamworks will never hire me, I might as well drop that thought in the public so I can stop dwelling on it.

If this isn’t the most hype thing I’ve ever seen, I don’t know what is

I hope it keeps up the quality of the previous films! Maybe we’ll see more of Shrek’s universe. There’s room to include characters from ancient mythology & potentially tall tales.
