Assume you have an events table on Facebook app analytics. Write a query to calculate the click-through rate (CTR) for the app in 2022 and round the results to 2 decimal places. Definition and note: Percentage of click-through rate (CTR) = 100.0 * Number of clicks / Number of impressions To avoid integer division, multiply the CTR by 100.0, not 100. events Table: Column NameTypeapp_idintegerevent_typestringtimestampdatetime events Example Input: app_idevent_typetimestamp123impression07/18/2022 11:36:12123impression07/18/2022 11:37:12123click07/18/2022 11:37:42234impression07/18/2022 14:15:12234click07/18/2022 14:16:12

Take Your Conceptual Model Downstream You are building a new app that will support your companies core functionality. The app team has worked with the data team to design the conceptual model for the database. Everybody has reached the level of mutual love - lets create the database and start the build! But, hold your horses, you are making one of the most common errors. Your data may live in the app but it will be consumed by multiple systems downstream. You need to take both the data requirements and the conceptual model all the way downstream. Anything else will cause you to come back again and again to retrofit the source data, or be stuck with requirements that can't be fulfilled because nobody is willing to come back upstream to make changes to a working app. So, don't take half measures and be diligent to all requirements. #data #database #datamodel

So I just made a thing again. For the haze situation in Singapore this time. I found the PSI and PM2.5 readings were not always clear – it lacked context and actionable steps. I found myself asking some recurring questions: What did the numbers mean? How do I use the different readings for my daily life? What can I do to protect myself and my loved ones? Finding the info often meant having to triangulate across different parts of the site, or even across the different NEA resources - the mobile app, a website, a PDF. And a lot of info I don’t need. There’s isn’t an all-in-one snapshot of all the info I needed to make decisions when living with the haze. So I made one myself. 👉https://psi.sg Was inspired and quickly designed and developed this in 2 days! I really made this for myself, but thought maybe other Singaporeans might face the same friction and painpoints as I did. Hope this helps you live healthily with the haze! As always, open to feedback and ideas on how to improve this web app.
