Baldur's Gate 3 for Xbox Series X 🎮 will be released on four discs 💿💿💿💿, making it the first game for the Series X platform to do so. The decision to use four discs was made due to exceeding the size limit for three discs. The game's director of publishing confirmed the necessity for the additional disc, stating that cutting content wasn't a feasible option. The Xbox physical version is expected to ship in the first week of April, with the PlayStation 5 version shipping on two discs and the PC version on one disc. Whether you're playing on PC, PlayStation, or Xbox, you can now seamlessly transfer your progress. This feature extends to combinations such as Xbox and PC, as well as Xbox and PlayStation 5. According to Larian director of publishing Michael Douse, this is made possible thanks to their Larian accounts system. Additionally, players can sync their saves from the PC version of Baldur's Gate 3 onto Xbox and enjoy playing offline. Larian Studios has overcome development issues in bringing the game to Xbox Series X|S, and although split-screen is only available on the Series X and not on the Series S, cross-platform progression will be available across all platforms. Stay tuned for the release of Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox Series X|S later this year. An exact date is yet to be announced. Crystal Dynamics and Aspyr are working together to bring us Tomb Raider I, II, III Remaster, which will not only feature upgraded visuals, but also allow players to toggle between original polygonal graphics and updated visuals with ease. Originally announced for the Nintendo Switch during the September Nintendo Direct, the game will also be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The release date is set for February 14, 2024. For those unfamiliar with the series, the first three Tomb Raider games were released in quick succession between 1996 and 1998. Since then, the franchise has seen a successful reboot trilogy and a brand new game is currently in development at Crystal Dynamics, to be published by Amazon. In other exciting news, Lara Croft recently made a crossover appearance in Call of Duty, showcasing a fresh new design.
