I have long believed it is undeniable that VC Platform folks do tremendous work which drives fund returns, but it’s never been easy to measure how this actually contributes to a firm’s performance. Over the last year, the VC Platform Global Community board, led by Dale Chang and myself, and with the support of our friends at Zendesk for Startups, decided to go deep in the data to see if we could measure this intuitive feeling we had. Today, we finally published our findings: powerof.vcplatform.com I am excited to have this research out in the wild, and to provide a bit more insight into the historical impact that VC Platform teams have had on their firms.  I hope that with the help of this report the entire industry – LPs, GPs, Platform leaders and entrepreneurs – can start to validate what they previously only had anecdotal reasons to believe; the Power of Platform is real and it contributes to VC Firm’s ultimate goal of producing outsized returns. #VentureCapital #VCPlatform #PowerofPlatform
