Nuggets from Building HubSpot with Dharmesh Shah Reading helps you learn at exponential speeds. “Don’t necessarily look for required reading, instead read what is highly recommended”. Be “exceptionally good at receiving feedback”. Culture is the core of your business. Everything else is an iteration and byproduct of your culture and your people/team. Think of culture as a product. Something you can use to sell your team on, deliver on, and share. Culture is not static, its dynamic, changing according to circumstances like growth x expansion. Know what you are bad at - its important. When choosing cofounders look for people who hold the same core values as you but may do things tactically different. (this advice can apply when choosing life partners and friends too) Link to conversation 👇

Brand partnership • Versatile Business Leader Driving Revenue Growth and Expanding Footprints for Companies
🚀 Embracing Challenges, Expanding Horizons, and Making Dreams a Reality! 🌟 Not too long ago, I embarked on a new career path, and I must say, it presented me with a deluge of challenges that I hadn't quite anticipated. Rather than shying away, I took them head-on, viewing each challenge as the necessary "school fees" for my new venture. There is an undeniably invigorating sensation in confronting obstacles, seizing the bull by its horns, and then looking back in the rearview mirror, knowing you've added another notch to your belt. These moments of triumph propelled me to broaden my horizons even further. 🌄 I made a deliberate decision to personally undertake tasks that I would typically delegate to various departments, such as finance, IT, HR, maintenance, engineering, or any of the other components that accompany an established corporate structure. Tasks that initially seemed deceptively simple or lay "outside of my expertise" soon revealed themselves as intricate puzzles that, with the right inspiration and effort, could also become a significant accomplishment. My most recent journey involved not only constructing a "basic" website but also navigating the labyrinthine realm of domain hosting, DNS forwarding, and more. It was a rollercoaster ride but with the invaluable assistance of Hubspot CMS, its integrated AI (you can explore it here: https://lnkd.in/dArX3u7u), ChatGPT, and the guidance of remarkable bots and skilled individuals, I'm proud to present https://lnkd.in/dcZXwdPj. 🌐 What's even more thrilling is the CRM/CMS system I've established behind the scenes. I'm currently dedicated to crafting compelling content and exploring a myriad of exciting possibilities during this venture. 🚀 I hold your feedback in high regard, and I'm eager to hear your thoughts and insights. Please don't hesitate to share your comments and recommendations, as I'm constantly evolving and adapting to new skills and necessities. In the meantime, I'm delving into the world of XERO to experience what it's like to step into the shoes of a CFO for a few hours. The journey never ceases to amaze! 📈 I extend my heartfelt gratitude for being a part of this incredible journey. Let's persist in dreaming big and turning those dreams into reality! 💪 #EmbraceChallenges #ExpandYourHorizons #GlobalCoolingCollective #DreamBig

Large companies like HubSpot and Google have mastered a secret art - rapid implementation. Their business cultures promote swift action. However, as these giants grow, things start getting complicated. To control this situation, they create structured procedures. Yes, we need them, but these restrictions can limit creativity and problem-solving, tying our thoughts to to-do lists instead of letting them dream. So, is it really crucial?
