51.2 Tbps Switch 🤯 These are the switches AWS, Google and other Data Centers use for their internet backbone (along with ROADMs). Each port is 800G. To put that into perspective, 3-4 pieces of these switch are enough to serve cricket match on Jio-cinema with 20-30M concurrent user at the same time. Crazy part is 1.6Tbps optics is under production trials meaning in future this switch can very well achieve 102.4 Tbps in 2U (9 cm) form factor. What I'm excited about it is that multi-gig internet will eventually become commodity in coming years.
