Tropicana has changed it's named to "Tropcn"😳😳 Yes....you guessed it right, that's part of their recent marketing campaign !! But the main question is 'What do they want to communicate through this temporary change in the brand name ?' 🤷🏻♂️ Let me tell you 😌 Actually due to too much buzz around AI(Artificial Intelligence) lately, the line between Real and Artificial has been blurred and accordingly they have removed letters 'a' and 'i' from their brand name in limited edition "AI" free packaged units to convey that their products are made up of all natural ingredients with nothing being artificial !! . . . . . Nothing ruins a piece of content quite like an obviously AI-generated creative. Busy, fake, and always a bit off, it just makes me uneasy. "If only AI-generated images could be consistent with our branding, we could produce so much more content." - I've been saying to our team. So, some of the smart ponies found a way to scratch my itch. Most of the images on our blog have been generated with Brand Robots, and they're perfectly on-brand. Lately, Phoenix Environmental has been using Dalle for image generation. Try as we may, it's hard to find the right image on Canva for some of the environmental issues we want to depict. It's easier--well, sort of, I'm a perfectionist when it comes to marketing art--to generate one. We are also using AI to assist with our editing and brainstorming for new ideas. Like it or not, this technology is going to change the world we live and HOW we create. I embrace the possibilities it avails us. When I was in grade school they always said that giving kids calculators would make them unable to do math. It's not true in my opinion. You have to understand the concepts to solve the problem. Same with AI. You have to input the question or description and then refine, refine, refine. That's where the human aspect comes in. It's still your eye. I'd do the art myself...but I can't even draw a decent stick figure guy!

Who is Gunnar? You see 5 images. Just one shows me (Fotograf: Uwe Boehm). The rest has been altered with the AI-Tool PiktID. What can that be good for in content marketing? There are two benefits. ANONYMISATION: For advertising porposes we often prefer “anonymous” images of people. AI helps to remove biometric data and the simple visual aspect of an image. MARKET ADAPTATION: To address different target groups, global campaigns often have to reshoot the same image several times with different models. AI helps to create new relevant personalities for content marketing. AI-Tools like PiktID help to produce content more efficiently and to specifically address different target groups. It was one of the AI-Companies presenting their solutions at the AI CENTER at the PHOTOPIA Hamburg by AI.HAMBURG. The next AI CENTER will show fascinating new AI Tools at the INTERNORGA in March 2024. Be there! Blending the love of pets with creative “prompt engineering,” PetSmart Charities and Deutsch LA created Rescue Writer ™ (https://rescuewriter.ai/) an AI tool designed to assist overworked shelter staff and volunteers in crafting compelling pet bios for their adoption profile pages. Launched today, the start of National Adoption Week, the initiative aims to boost adoption rates, especially for senior pets, and reduce overcrowding in shelters. In some circles, the mention of AI still gets a collective groan. Another marketing buzzword. But this isn't big tech pushing the newest shiny toy. For us, it’s been giving our brainstorming sessions an injection of speed. Not replacing the creativity, just turbocharging it. And the result? We're churning out first drafts of work at record speed and creating game changing tools like Rescue Writer. Alright, let's address the two 800-pound gorillas in the room, the first: generative AI in marketing Before you get too cynical, check out this projection: by 2025, about 30% of all marketing content will have an AI fingerprint. That's up from 2% in 2022. The second thing we can’t ignore that’s been at the forefront of the generative AI conversation- the ethical quandaries that it presents. Many of the initial trailblazers have been cagey about guaranteeing ethically-trained models. Securing legal clearance and indemnification for commercial use of AI outputs has been a bear. We have our skeptical days, no doubt about that. But we’re staying curious. We’re experimenting with AI's potential, but pairing our excitement with a good dose of caution. It's all about finding that sweet spot that balances tech innovation with genuine human connection.
