To all junior and mid-level software engineers in my network: I am a senior full stack engineer and I have been on contract with Amazon and Starbucks before, I have also done everything from database design to DevOps, to back end API development to front end design and development. I say all of that because I am considering doing a series of recordings to show a senior engineer and our approach to starting a new custom coding project from scratch. More than this, I will literally not edit any video, so if you see me having bugs with things not working then you will also see me solving the problems and getting everything working, this will likely be the most realistic example of what it looks like when you get to a senior level. I would like comments or likes to this post to guage interest, but also I want to know what kind of project and what technology stack you all want to see me do, I will release an hour long video once a week and I will take the project clear through to deployment onto a live server. If this interests you, repost to get feedback from other developers you know. Technology stacks to pick from: Python, C#, or PHP back end. Angular or vanilla JavaScript front end.
