Transactional solidarity is not enough. This country, as a democracy, really cannot expect to continue to be proud on the world stage, competitive in the global economy, or have a democracy that it can put forward as working in a multiracial society, if we don't invest in the people who are the future. We need transformative solidarity to bring us to a thriving multiracial democracy. https://lnkd.in/gjFchT3d

J-Mark has explored some interesting constitutional issues and today he takes a serious look at the balence of power in the US. The Invisible Pillar: Why America Desperately Needs an Anonymous Third House America stands at a precipice, teetering between the grand vision of its founding fathers and the chaotic brinkmanship of modern politics. This nation, conceived in the crucible of debate and compromise, now finds its legislative process mired in a quagmire of division and stagnation. The bicameral system, a beacon of balance and representation, was designed to prevent the concentration of power and to ensure a diverse tapestry of voices could influence the governing of a vast, evolving landscape. Yet, as the sands of the political arena shift, this system increasingly serves as a battleground for partisan warfare rather than a forum for constructive dialogue.....read more below https://wix.to/eEpeykx

Federal CXO whisperer, focused on being a force for good by enabling agencies in their quest to find truth in a digital world.
Juneteenth stands as a testament to the ongoing evolution of the United States toward the ideals enshrined in the Constitution's preamble. The document's opening phrase, "We the People," acknowledges the ongoing process of building a more perfect union. Juneteenth celebrates the significant progress made with the abolition of slavery, but also serves as a powerful reminder that the pursuit of liberty and justice for all remains unfinished business. On this day, we recommit ourselves to the ideals of freedom, equality, and justice. We can all be a #forceforgood by actively working towards a more perfect union, where the promise of liberty and justice truly extends to all.

Reigniting America's Promise America stands as a 200-year testament to revolutionary ideas that still ring true today. Equality. Unalienable rights. Consent of the governed. Rule of law. Though varied in backgrounds, the Founding Fathers unified behind principles that lit freedom's torch and passed its light to every generation since. The Declaration of Independence marked the spark - proclaiming that all people possess equal dignity with fundamental rights to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” This vision laid the foundation for the Constitution’s structure protecting rights by limiting government power. For over two centuries, the lamp lit back then has guided our path. Key beliefs that shaped America include equality under God, innate human dignity, limited government, self-determination, rule of law, and private property ownership. These core values still resonate. But as heirs to this hard-won freedom, it's our task to reignite her light within today’s divided discourse. We must revisit the sparks that birthed America’s promise and let their fire guide us forward. What core truths unified our ancestors to risk everything for liberty? How did visionaries like Jefferson and Madison apply timeless ideals to frame freedom? What wisdom echoes across the centuries to challenge our defaults today? By opening our hearts to principles etched into every state house and library, school, and town square since America began, we tap collective courage to walk together with virtue. The Founders lit freedom’s torch for this moment. Our shared destiny demands we carry it onward. 🎇 Happy Independence Day! As we gather to celebrate our nation’s founding, let’s reflect on a core question: What makes America truly great? 🤔💡 #July4th #IndependenceDay On this day in 1776, our founders embarked on a bold experiment in democracy by declaring all people are created equal. This principle has guided us as a nation through more than two centuries of change. It’s a reminder that our strength comes from our commitment to freedom—for everyone. 🗽📜 Consider the early patriots, who dared to imagine a free America where every voice could be heard. From the abolitionists to the suffragettes to civil rights heroes, every generation has champions who have pushed us closer to fulfilling that original promise of liberty and justice for all. Isn’t that the heart of patriotism? ❤️ This July 4th, let’s honor our nation not just by looking back, but by looking forward. Let’s commit to ensuring that freedom and justice are not just ideals, but realities for all. As we enjoy today’s celebrations, let’s also ask ourselves: How can we contribute to making America live up to its highest ideals? 🌟🚀 #4thOfJuly #AmericanPride #FreedomAndJustice
