#1 Financial guy. Making magic happen with your money and creating limitless opportunities for your business and life, whatever that looks like for you.
The program is similar to an RRSP, but it also includes grants from the federal government of up to $3,500 a year, or $70,000 lifetime, and additional financial aid for low-income earners https://ow.ly/KhGc50QasMe

Reporting on demographic information is so difficult because it’s defined differently on individual levels and organizational levels. It’s interesting to see how the government is defining demographic terms to attempt some uniform reporting. What do my other grant professionals do to try to capture demographic information for their organization/clients?
In this week's blog post, Ashley Dooley, MBA, GPC asks, "How do you help to bridge the gap between what the federal definition says and how clients choose to self-report their race and ethnicity in order to report out as accurately as possible to your funders?" https://buff.ly/3St8CRk #GrantPro

Wise words contained in this post. Check it out!
This is what collective impact looks like! We cannot do the the work we do alone! We cannot make infinite impact being siloed and disengaged from community. We acknowledge that in order to provide safe, nurturing spaces for boys and masculine-identified youth, we need support. Using a data driven approach, we have worked with Lance Meeks to identify and hold spaces in communities that need them most. Thank you Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona for your partnership and committment!

To this point, most of what has been discussed regarding the #CTUnspokenCrisis is the data and analytics. The reality is that behind the 119k number are 119,000 individuals with goals and dreams, and stories of their struggle and perseverance. That is why our next report, written by Community Science, features 74 interviews with impacted young people in our state. 🔗 Click the link below to learn more. 📍P.S. If you’re in the Hartford area tomorrow, stop by the Capitol, room 310 for a data walk to learn even more. https://lnkd.in/e_k3QwuK (https://lnkd.in/e_k3QwuK)
