As a 17-year-old, I understand this. Joe Biden steps down. I am a crypto enthusiast. Trump is a crypto enthusiast too (also one of the major crypto holders in the world). I understand that: • If Trump is elected, crypto will get a catalyst to the bull run. • Crypto adoption will happen at a faster rate. • Maybe, Modi & his team get convinced by Trump that crypto is the future. • Then, maybe the Modi team will change the laws regarding crypto. According to Polymarket, the answer appears to be yes. ➡ Prior to Trump’s NFT Gala on May 8th, Trump’s and Biden’s odds were neck-and-neck in the mid-40s. #Crypto moving mainstream! like Larry Fink, Donald Trump's opinion on crypto has evolved over the last 5 years. Although very early stage in the policy evolution, it's certainly perceived more positive than the Biden stance. The view going forward is Biden and the Democrats stifle innovation in the technology sector with increased regulation and taxes, while President Trump aims to foster American leadership in emerging technologies. As observed here many crypto investors are under the age of 40, a demographic that presidential candidates always want on their side. SAME LYMAN LAYS IT OUT Crypto is NOT a partisan issue. It’s a generational one. Case in point: 21 Dems voted yesterday to rein in Gensler’s overreach on crypto. The average age of this voting group? 48. Contrast these young Gen Xers to the Dem party leaders they defied with yesterday’s vote. Maxine Waters is 85. Joe Biden is 81. Elizabeth Warren is 74. When it comes to digital assets, where a policymaker stands is more about age than political affiliation. We need more innovation-friendly Dems whose minds are oriented to the possibilities of the future. In other words, real progressives.
