If you’re not an outspoken fan of your lab’s current flow cytometer(s), consider the thoughts of someone who is. Alan Dunlop, Head of Immunophenotyping at the Royal Marsden NHS Trust, has called his new flow cytometers “transformative” for his lab. His lab’s three new DxFLEX flow cytometers (which replace three much larger instruments and free up a lot of bench space) surprised him and his staff in ways they never expected. Learn why he’s such a big fan of the DxFLEX flow cytometer in this short video, and request your demo: https://becls.co/4dDOtR4

We are excited that the Georgia Tech team of Sundaresan Jayaraman and Sungmee Park has been selected as one of the 20 Phase 1 winners of NIOSH’s Respirator Fit Evaluation Challenge! We are thrilled for them to be recognized for their innovative approach to respirator fit evaluation. They will compete in Phase 2 where they will prototype their solution. To learn more about the challenge and the other winners: https://lnkd.in/grhGXZVC Challenge Goal The NIOSH Respirator Fit Evaluation Challenge will crowdsource novel technologies and innovative approaches that deliver immediate evaluation and feedback to end users about the fit of filtering facepiece respirators (FFRs) during use. Solutions should consider how to provide immediate feedback to a diverse group of end users, including faces within the NIOSH anthropometric grid as well as faces of under-represented populations or those falling on the edges of the NIOSH anthropometric grid are encouraged.

Funny because it's true!? SPOT Imaging recognizes how hard lab personnel work and we strive to design solutions to make it go a little better. Let us show you how. https://lnkd.in/g6nThfJY #Labtech #Histology #specimen #Pathologyassistant #cytology #digitalpathology.
Here are some Myths about Lab technologists that we decided to have some fun with. However, this is by no means a true depiction of how we go about doing our jobs as healthcare professionals nor is this a representation of any organization we are associated with. HAPPY LAB WEEK ALL. Have a blast! 🔬

📣 Up to 40% of women experience pelvic floor problems that negatively affect their health and psyche. NTC researchers at the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen, the Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen at Charles University, and the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg have therefore joined forces to develop a system for preventing pelvic floor disorders. 👉 The collaboration aims to create a modular non-invasive system for exercising pelvic muscles. The resulting functional prototype will help improve the quality of life for women aged 18 to 45 and simultaneously reduce the burden on the healthcare system. The European Union project is supported by the Ministerstvo pro místní rozvoj from European funds within the Interreg Bavaria-Czech Republic 2021-2027 program.
