Shouldn't organizations extend their impact beyond familiar networks?
A while back, during a presentation for Start-up Madeira, I emphasized the need to understand global issues and contribute to solving them.
In the contemporary landscape, the current engagement and business transactions of most companies extend far beyond geographical borders, encompassing individuals and companies across the entire spectrum of our supply chain. Some people say it's important to help local charities or causes, and that's good.
But I think, even though helping locally is valuable, we live in a world where everything is connected globally. So, it's essential to look at the bigger picture.
Understanding and trying to solve global issues as a company is not just important; it's really meaningful. It goes beyond just our local community and becomes a crucial and significant part of what we do as a business.
At Great Shift, we've embraced this philosophy, weaving purpose into our business fabric. We deliberately embedded purpose into every product and service, resulting in an astounding 10,000+ giving impacts on UN Sustainable Development Goals in the first year alone.
Now, I invite you to share your insights: How do you integrate purpose into your business strategy to make a lasting global impact?
